Good Morning! I am 2 years 3 months post-op and doing great, but I do suffer from dizziness at times, and it lasts for hours.  I went to my PCP back in January and he said my blood pressure was low.  I checked it last night when I was dizzy and it was fine.  I am still that way this morning.  Any ideas? How's your water intake?  I can always guage my water intake (or lack there of!) whenever I get a little dizzy spell.  It usually means that I'm not getting enough!! Just a thought!

Hi, April!  Do you check your blood sugar at these times?  I have that problem w/my blood sugar plummeting and have to eat some yogurt or pb on wheat crackers.  I, also, feel clammy, disoriented and very sweaty.  Hope you find a reason!!

Hugs,

Hi.  No, I have not checked that.  I guess I need one of those things to do that huh?  I get dizzy, and jittery feeling inside and heart "feel" like it is racing, though it did not show that on the blood pressure monitor.   Thanks for response, April 275/128

Hey, April.  Maybe your pcp will have a monitor you can have or borrow.  Mine gave me one.  Mine occurs 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours after eating or during exercise or if I eat too many carbs.  My surgeon said it's common in about 5% of patients 1-3 years after surgery!  Lucky us, huh?!?  LOL  Good luck - and let me know, k?

Hi again.  I will sure see about it, and if I find out, let ya know and thanks for the advice.  It happens to me shortly after eating or exercise, but I very very little carbs..but  have been walking 6 miles a day the last few days, which is twice my norm..and haven't eaten in a few hours before walking....hmmmmm Hugs, April
