Hi Anita, did you ever try using Spark People.com for tracking your calories.  I just saw that site listed on someones profile on the TX. Messageboard.  It is quite an informative site in may ways and very helpful.

You just log in then when the page comes up log in your fluid intake then scroll down and one of the headings says nutrition.  Click on that and a new screen will come up and you just type in what foods you ate and they will come up on a list then you highlight the ones closest to your chosen item, click on the portion sizes, and which meal you want to count it for.  It automatically figures your carbs, proteins, fats, and sugars.  There is some other place that you can put in your exercise and it will tell you how many calories you burned.  I haven't figured out that part yet. It's pretty neat and free.

Hi Anita Darling, I looked over your day, carbs were probably higher because of the amount of bread you ate plus the "bear naked" added quite a bit too...Don't sweat it though, so days you will just eat more carbs then others if you allow carbs in your diet...I think it important not to compare carbs with others because you just don't know how much they allow in their personalized programs, you know my carb numbers run pretty high by most WLS post-op standards, but it works for me, if I cut them down to low my weight starts dropping and I'm trying to maintain...My point is do what is right for you, if it working no need to fix it, if its not then make adjustments... Continuing on, really your food day looks really nice, lots of good choices and plenty of good liquids...Keep up the good work ...Glad you were able to get on to Fitday and do some tracking, did you pick up the program or is your computer back on line with dsl?  Alesia

Hi Alesia, Awww i like that word Darlin... dont make me blush.. lol...  we all love you......... yeah the bread... but i'm not going to eat it every day. maybe i will throw that bread to the birds. they seem to love it.. and the bear naked granola i wanted both flavors so had one serving of each. maybe should of only had one. it was a snack. it does taste pretty good. i dont like my carb numbers too high at least 100. when i see it more then 100 i think i will gain. my weight yesterday was 155 today was 156 pounds. i hate that. it might be time to put that scale up for a week again.  yes i do like fitday. we gave up on the dls to save money so we are on dialup to save money. it sure takes forever to load.i think i will get that fitday cd with birthday money. if i do get birthday money but if not then still i want the cd of fitday. by the way my wls surgeon gave me a booklet on diverticulosis and diverticulitis. so i guess i have that . i have to see my surgeon for the test results on the 23th of july. see you later. going to the hospital gym soon.... anita
