5 cups of coffee with cream and splenda for breakfast 1 cup of salad with those cheese crumbles and asian sesame dressing on it for lunch 3/4 cup of polish sausage and cabbage stir fry for dinner 1/2 sugar free/fat free banana split frozen yogurt for dessert with 2 tbls sugar free strawberry topping on it And herbal tea throughout the day to finish off my liquid requirements  Suzanne

Hi Suzanne, Thanks for hopping on the accountability boat, good to see you ...Whoa, 5 cups of coffee for breakfast, that is some serious jumpstart for the day, I hope you are using at least 1/2 caf if not full decaf, 'cuz you know caffeine is actually a dehydrator so you need 2 cups of plain water to every cup of caffeine to offset the affects of the dehydration... Looks like you had a good food day, 2 nice meals that were protein forward...Do you track on Fitday or Sparkpeople to make sure your totals are enough to keep the body going?  If not, you might check into it, both have free access...I found when I started tracking I was surprised at some of the numbers, so its a great way to keep tabs on yourself... Wow!  I had never heard of that website   Maybe I need to do that as I am having a very bad problem with energy some days and dizziness when standing up.  Maybe that is my problem?  Hmmm....something for me to think about.  I also did not know about the caffeine and dehydration (I have not been able to see my surgeon or the dietician since 3-months post-op due to insurance).  And yes, I eat mostly protein as with as little as I eat I figure I can get everything else from my vitamin collection we have to take, lol!  Thanks for your help and I will look into those website as soon as I am able Suzanne
