Yet another Poop Question

Sorry about this but I don't know who else to ask.  Is there a way to make your poop smaller?  I go regularly, but it is so larger that my toilet can't flu****!  I hate to go to the bathroom at home now.  I I eat a high fiber cereal and/or prunes to keep me regular.  Even when I was using stool softeners, this was a problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Sally

I am laughing, but not at you, with you. Do I understand this one. We actually went and bought a new toilet that was guaranteed not to plug up. And you should have seen the faces of the saleman when I told them I wanted a toilet that was guaranteed. Ha ha. And just so you know, it works great. Other than that, I don't have any ideas. I still hate to use someone elses bathroom as I am never sure how their plumbing works. Sara

Oh, how I hear ya. I carry the plunger from bathroom to bathroom at home. We have water saver toilets, what a joke, they plug faster than the regular ones. Sounds like there is more than one of us in this predicament. Rhonda

So glad I'm not the only one!!  I bought an Eljer toilet for about $200 after surgery due to the same reasons...my plumber thought I was crazy, but I'd rather pay more than twice as much than have to use the plunger after every BM!  The only problem is it's a jet-flush that is sooo loud, it's even more embarassing  and nerve-wracking...not to mention I've had the same part break at least twice and they have to come in the mail.  I said all that to say I don't have a solution, but let me know when you do so I can try it!

I get the same way!  Its too weird sometimes.  I also have diarrhea at least once a week...it use to be every Sunday like clock work.  I never really understood why it happens.  Its good to hear there are other toilets having the same problem mine is...My husband razz's me about being the Queen of the Plumbing these days.  So I guess we are stuck with this for the rest of our lives!  Someone needs to make a better toilet!!!!! Boy am I glad to read that it isn't just me.  I've switched to the cheaper, more biodegradable toilet paper to help with the clogging, but more often the problem is just the size of the poop.  During the week I can usually wait until I get to work in the morning--they have some powerful toilets.  It is just so gross when plunging poop!  If I learn of anything that helps, I'll be sure to post it. Love your "not so smiley" little man on the throne.  I know just how he feels sometimes!

I flush part way through.  Then flush when finished.  Thank goodness I haven't clogged any toilets.
