Good Day Sunshine, Good Day Sunshine, Gooooood Day Suuunshine -hear me sing you know the tune... Feeling pretty good this morning, full of vim & vigor, even though the sunshine is a little spotty here today with a healthy chance of thunderstorms pretty much all week, but I'm not letting the weather affect my mood... Sunday was great food day for me, especially considering it was a weekend, stayed on track well and was satisfied with everything I ate...Hope you all had a great day also and of course a good weekend B - 1 1/2 scrambled eggs       1/4 of a toasted english muffin       1 sausage link S - power crunch peanut butter creme bar with a squirt of reddiwhip on top L - 16 oz decaf sf/ff hazelnut and caramel latte       1/2 a biscotti S - 1 oz honey roasted cashews D - 4 oz honey teriaki glazed pork tenderlion on the grill       1/4 cup mashed potatoes w/ a dab of gravy       1/2 cup peas-n-carrots S - mocha egg custard       1 orange creme hersheys kiss PLUS -   69 oz water/crystal light and 10 oz hot tea with lemon and honey TOTALS  =     Cals -1194     Fat - 53     Carbs - 98     Protein - 82 See ya  Alesia

that was a good day for you.. wow... weekends are always tough.. I go from one to the other end of the spectrum. I spent my whole day laying on the couch with my foot up.. To think, a year a go that would have been my favorite pastime.. yesterday I was going nuts.. I wanted to get up and do something.. anything.. i would get up just to move around throughout the day.. What a different world.

Didnt do to badly on food yesterday

B- protein shake

S- protein bar

L- fruit and a protein ball

S- 2 protein balls

D- chicken 2 oz and squash

S- ice cream

totals... cal... 1142, Carbs... 54, fat...34, protein ...105.
Kind of a low day but i didnt move to much either so it worked out.

I drank like crazy yesterday. I actually drank a gallon of crystal light.. at least it gave me a reason to get up to go to the bathroom.. hey maybe that was my exercise for the day...lol

You're killin' me with laughter Carla, Bathroom breaks for exercise, guess it could work if you stretch it a little ...You did good girl, protein was great when you even it out against the other stuff, I think you did really great!  Know what you mean about just sitting around, really is harder to do that now, just have more excess energy to burn and its harder to be a vegetable, got to be working something even if its cross-stitching while watching tv or working on the scrapbook...Haven't sat down and gotten really engrossed in a book for the whole day in ages, kinda miss that... Anyway, its all good, I take the changes in stride...Have a good night... Alesia

had a baby shower for my daughter in law yesterday, but I did pretty good 4 cups of decaf w/ sf vanilla creamer    1/2 biscuit w/ sf syurp  2 slices turkey bacon 1/3 cup of spagetti small salad w/ no dressing 1 forkfull of baby shower cake 1/3 cup of peanuts about 45 oz of water (gotta do better on this one) Considering the day, I could have done alot worse. I'll do better today.

 Pre surgery 300 lbs, lowest after 175 lbs, re-gain highest 249 lbs, current 211 lbs, goal 170 lbs!

Hey Singin' Girl... I think you had a really good day, including the baby shower food (and cake ) I was at a girlfriends house on July 4th and they had a baby shower the day before, of course there was left over cake, and yes, I have to admit, it was REALLY tasty, ate more than 1 forkful but not enough to go into sugar dumping...Besides liquids you did great, I know you're trying to get back on track, this is a good way to jumpstart your program... Hi Alesia, How are you? Good i hope.. the scale keeps saying 157 or 156.. grrrrr... well here is what i had for sunday....it was a busy day.. went to to hospital to see my dad been in since the 4th.  yell at me some.... i am thinking about getting myself a birthday present.. i might buy myself the cd for fitday i think it cost 40 dollars.... so not sure yet... i do miss fit day.. dial up takes so long.. grr... i want my high speed back... :-(  see you later. anita B- 1 c. special k 1/2 c. silm milk S-1 stick oh yeah cho protein bar L- 3 oz. chicken breast  -- mom took us to denny's 1 c. tossed salad, tomatoes, purple onoin, few crutons italian dressing veg. beef soup - just ate the vegs and meat left the broth. S- 4 small candy bars at hospital - 2 hersheys, 1 krackle,1 goodbar--- bought at hospital gift store.. bad , bad.. D- 1 slice pizza with cheese S- bowl of stick pretzels bowl of rice krispies and milk 45 oz  plain water- very bad day for water. running around tooo much...

OK Anita why do you want me to yell. Do you feel like you are not doing your best?   I look, I see, I know, we all go thru periods where it is just a struggle to do the right thing, you're doing OKAY, so don't be down on yourself...If you can afford to treat yourself to Fitday as a birthday gift, I think, it would be money well spend, especially if it gives you access without having to have high-speed...I really found it was making a world of difference in my attitude about food when I started to track what I was eating... So here you go  , you insert the words... Alesia

well sometimes i know i am not doing my best. temptation........... grrr.... i am trying to do good but sometimes i want to snack even on good snacks... yeah i am thinking of buying the fitday. i do like it. i do miss counting my calories and all but still i am writing down my foods and water. anita

Hello there!

I'm coming out of "lurking" to post here ... thanks to Carla for inviting me to join in!

Yesterday we went to the beach and I didn't count calories.  I didn't write down what I eat either but here is what I ate, if I remember correctly!

B--1 scrambled egg, 1/2 slice whole wheat toast, 1/2 banana with a smear of peanut butter on it

L--just the patty from a cheeseburger and a couple bites of bun (ok, I had a HARD time finding something to eat off the menu so this was about as good as I could get!)

S--a child-size icecream cone

D--1 slice super thin crust pizza, a handful of grapes

S--a pepperoni stick

Normally I exercise like a fiend but yesterday was my day off.  I did a bunch of walking on the beach though and got a nice red sun-burn!  It was a great weekend but I'm glad to be back home and to a normal routine.  I'm back to planning my menu for the day and back to the gym.  It feels good!

Glad to see you over here.. the people here are great and Alesia is great with advise on keeping us on track. I am doing so much better since I came here and started learning what to do at a year out.
