Hi Carla, FANTASTIC another great day for you and holding steady at a buck and a quarter, I know that feels really good ! Don't sweat the carb thing, lower is definately better by most post-ops standards, you need some ( 50-60 a day I think) for your brain to function well, but really no more than that...During my 1st year I really tracked hard to keep the carbs and fat low, low, low, but when I got to my goal and started trying to do maintenance I found I HAD to up both carbs and fat to stop loosing, in the process dropped 13 more lbs trying to figure out just how much carbs and fat I could add to my day and stay at a steady weight, so now I don't worry too much about my counts not being as low as others, I just know that I found the right mix for me personally and in the end that is what it is all about... Enjoy the day, see ya on the weekend... Alesia
Hey DeAnn, You are doing good on the "timer plan", keep up the great job !...I make the mocha custards, really easy recipe, will post it later tonight when I get home, can also post the protein ball recipe if Carla has not done so by then...
I've tried the turkey ff hotdogs, they ain't half bad really, don't know much about the other kinds...
Have a great evening...Alesia
Hey Jeanie,
How low was the protein? You had some with every meal except the Musketeers so I'm thinking it can't have been too bad, did you make it to 60 for the day?
Just keep working on it...if you need to, supplement your day with a protein drink, it will help bring your numbers up, is usually pretty low in cals and they go down pretty easy for me...
