Hi Jeanie, You had a great day on July 4th for your food choices ...I want to know more about that protein packed pizza that has no crust, do you have a recipe to post?...I see the 3 musketeers are still in the house and calling your name - never fear, you are not alone, I have tooo many little stinker treats around my place too, they get me once and a while, but mostly I do pretty good at ignoring the call or I substitute my sf chocolates instead and tell myself that its a better choice ...

Have a good remainder of the week, see ya tomorrow...Alesia

I'm not sure what hubby piles onto it. I think he changes the recipe regularly, like I do with meatloaf or chili. No two batches are ever the same.  He starts with a Chef Boyardee cheese pizza mix in a box, then adds pork sausage, pepperoni, several cheeses, red pepper flakes, onions, probably some Italian spices. I don't really want to know because if he puts something in I think I don't like, it may ruin it for me. Heh. If I made it, I would add green peppers and olives. It's pretty thick with toppings. I'm guessing my slice was about 1/8th of the pizza, and the toppings alone filled me up fairly well.  I didn't want the crust and would have been too full if I had eaten it. Jeanie

I ate A LOT yesterday. I went to a couple of parties, but I tried to eat mostly protein and veggies and fruit with just tastes of the really sugary stuff. I did OK, I guess. Here's the rundown: B- 2 scrambled eggs, 2 chicken breakfast sausages   S- some macadamia nuts At Pool Party: Large burger (no bun) with cheese and salsa Hot dog bite of steak Piece of watermelon A few pretzels Cheese cubes 1 spinach & cheese empanada Veggies and ranch dip (broccoli, baby carrots, snap peas, tiny tomatoes) Some ambrosia (mmm my favorite!) bite of oatmeal cookie bite of rice krispy treat melon balls couple of strawberries At Neighbors Party: Large hunk of steak Few bites of rice & beans guacamole orange soda BUT I didn't eat any cake, brownies, fudge, cupcakes or chocolate cookies and they looked GOOD! So I feel pretty good about yesterday! Lots of water, forgot 1 dose of calcium. Weighed the same today!!

Hey Leslie, We don't mind at all, this board is not about what kind of WLS you had only that you are a 1 year grad, I've got several other DS'rs posting with me occasionally on the accountability board, so come on in anytime... I think you handled yourself pretty well too, BTW ...I also knew it was going to be a grazing kind of day 'cus of BBQ's, just got to set a plan for it and go with the flow cause I know I'm going to end up just eating my the snack method whenever there is a party involved... Have a great day, come back any time...Alesia

(x-post) B - Ham and cheese omelette, sm OJ, coffee (some of it with half-and-half and a LITTLE sugar) S - Small slice cheesecake (only a little of the crust) L - Two hot dogs (but only half of one bun) S - Ice cream D - Roasted large chicken breast with carrots and cole slaw.  MORE cheesecake. S - Way too much trail mix...(too much because it was the kind with chocolate and pb chips) Another Dinner - 1/2 of small chicken breast, more cole slaw And because I graze all day - Miscellaneous slices of orange and grapefruit and probably 1/3 cup of mixed nuts.  I'm sure there was more, but I'm in denial! Sue ETA:  Oh, yes.  the Reese's.  The flat package of..I dunno 8-10...little PB cups.  I think half of them survived the night.
