Accountability - What did you eat, Monday 7/2?
Good day to everyone,
Tomorrow is July 4th, I hope everyone enjoys the day - what are your plans? I', marinating a couple of steaks overnight and we'll go to the local fireworks in the evening, otherwise free wheeling all day, maybe do a little scrapbooking...
Monday was a pretty good food day...Went to bingo last night with DH, this is the 1st time I've been since I completed my weight loss and started really eating all the regular foods, was a little worried I might spend to much time grazing on popcorn and snackies while hitting the dobber, but I think I handled it very well...
B - 2 protein balls
S - 4 oz lf cottage cheese
snak size sf jello
L - 3oz veal romani
1/4 cup scalloped potatoes
1/4 sauteed green & yellow beans
S - 2 saltines
1 peanutbutter oatmeal cookie
D - 10 oz banana/choc/coffee protein frappachino
S - soft pretzel w/ mustard
1 oz cashews
S - mocha egg custard
PLUS = 86 oz water/crystal lite and 10 oz strawberry hot tea
TOTALS = Cals - 1467 Fat - 77 Carbs - 109 Protein - 92

Hey you... yeah.. planning for the 4th with the family.. we can do fireworks here in Chino so we will be doing that and having a nice bbq.
Had a wonderful time on my little vacation.. sore as all get out but it's a good sore.. and happily the scale didnt move on me either way so I call it a successful trip all the way around..
Food for monday.
B- protein shake
S- protein bar and plum
L- chicken and beef fajitas with some cheese about 4 oz total
S- protein balls
D- more left over fajitas 4 oz
S- ice cream
total calories 1034..opps a little low.. carbs 75.. fat 40 and protein 103. need to pick up those calories.
I did sparkpeople for the whole trip yesterday and only one day did I eat over 1100 calories.. I guess I need it to keep me on track..
Gonna work on increasing the fluid.. didnt do so well at the river unless you count what I drank when I flipped in the tube a few times..lol

Welcome back, no you can't count the liquids swallowed while tubing ...Glad you had a good trip, to hard to track food officially while on vacations so I don't even try...When we went on our cruise I just promised myself to remember to exercise daily and try to make healthy choices from all the food that was available, still gained 5 lbs in 7 days, but lost it again within a few weeks of coming home and settling down to a regular eating plan...I just accept thats what vacationing is about for me and move on to doing better once I get home...You'll do fine now that you are back in a routine and can be back on track to captaining your own ship and steering the right course...
Good food choices for the day and each one will be better in the coming week...I'm counting on it

Hey girl!!! I started tracking again Mon. Was out of town and will be next weekend too and part of the week but I tried to watch it!! Had a 1 pound loss Mon. so I'm ok with that. Here goes:
2 c. coffee with ff creamer
B-high fiber toast, 2 egg white, canadian bacon
S-nectar drink
L-Salad with 2 oz chicken, 1/4 2% cheddar, ff french dressing, 1/2 c. chocolate sf pudding cup
D-Whole wheat pita pizza with 2% mozzarella, turkey pepperoni, tomato sauce, salad with 2 T. Lite done right 3 cheese ranch
S-9 Multigrain Mini honey graham rice cakes
TOTALS: Calories - 1022 Fat - 32 Carbs -98 Protein - 85

You had an awesome day, great job keeping the fat count low and the protein count high ...My scale is staying down and I'm back to 124-126 most days, can deal with that, like it better when it says 124 but all still in my flex range, so its OK...

10:00 lf turkey and dill pickle
1:00 - 2 slices whole wheat crust pizza (2 toppings) Mellow Mushroom - yum
3:00 protein shake
6:00 half of baja wrap (Tacone) half of the homemade chips, half order grilled veggies (shared with a friend - this helps tremendously with portion size) Did have diet coke with meal
9:00 protein shake....
Did go to the gym for hour of cardio and weights while......
Trying to do Karen B's Timer plan - will not be eating out tomorrow (well today as it is Tuesday now, but doing well today)....

Good day ...Mellow Mushroom pizza, does sound good...Great job on the exercise too, in the end I do believe maintenance is about cals in/ cals out and you have to work a good exercise plan into the program because the further out you get the more regular foods you work into your day so you have to have a plan to help offset the days when you make choices that include higher cals and carbs...

We haven't got anything much exciting going on. Hubby is taking the rest of the week off to work on my daughter's dresser that he's stripping and painting. We'll get groceries tomorrow afternoon and get a deli rotis chicken for dinner. Otherwise, we'll probably eat out once or twice and maybe go to a movie but that's it.

S - 1 pack pb on wheat crackers, AchievONE
L - 1 T pb on 3 Triscuits, sf Jell-O cup, 2 sf Werthers, 1 pack O'Coco's

D - the rest of my chicken Mexican salad, sf Jell-O cup w/ff RW, sf fudgie
S - 1 oz apple chips, 1/2 c sf ff homemade tapioca pudding
Plus I drank 67 oz water, 16 oz half decaf coffee, 16 oz decaf diet green tea, 12 oz cf Diet Coke, 16 oz sf ff hot cocoa w/ff RW and I cleaned the house instead of treading. Happy 4th!!!!!
