Help! I've lost my PEP!

Hi there!

I'm nearly 18 months out, I've had my share of ups and downs since WLS, but for the most part I have been doing great! I've lost all my weight and have been successful in maintaining for the last 6 months now.

Lately, I am sooo.... tired all the time. It is really hard for me to wake up and get moving in the morning. In fact it feels like I took a sleeping pill the night before (even thought I don't do that.) This wearyness isn't a 'sleepy' tired. Its more like my body is asleep and my brain is struggling for control. (Does that even make any sense?) Has anyone experience this before?  thanks

Sounds like you need to have your labs done.  Could be that your iron is low?  I had that feeling, copmbined with falling asleep during the day cuz I was zapped.  good luck.

Any time I hear someone say they are tired I think of low iron. Have you had your labs drawn lately? Do you take B12 (shots or sublingual)?

get your labs done.  Your thyroid may be off. If your Calicum and Vit. D are down then your thyroid may be making you tired.  Good Luck. Don't worry.  It's fixable. Koukla 338/176
