isopure for "time out prograam"?
hi everryone
I have a question for everyone, what do you think about me changing the shake on thhe "time out " program to zero carb isopure made with milk? I kknow it said to make the protein shake with water but I cant stand the taste of it without skim miilk.. i would then have a isopure shake made with milk in the Am in the afterooon and then for dinner, withh all the water and crystall light I can drink during the day... for at least two weeks
Will I be missing the point of the program?
I usaully make my shakkes with skim milk 11/2 bananna and maybe one strewberry two scopes of isopure ( 50 grams of protein)
this is the stats on Issopure http://www.naturesbest.com/index.html?section=Shopping&id=30 04&catSec=207&pid=17382&-session=thisSession:1A724534185CFB4 D90B4C4E31785E544

The Time Out is really just meant to help refocus your eating and cut out the bad things. I was doing a modified version of it and having a small protein meal or salad every day. I lost some weight, but I also reset my dumping mechanism so that I do get sick when I eat sugar. I also feel full on less food now. So in my opinion the milk would be fine as long as you are using skim. I would probably avoid the banana just because they are kind of high on the glycemic index, aren't they? I would avoid carbs where I could, with the exception of milk if you can't do without it. I personally like the ready to drink Isopure flavor Icy Orange. It's expensive in the ready to drink formula though. As long as you are cutting out sugar and only consuming protein and low calorie fluids then you should do fine. Most people have modified it to fit their needs. Best of luck.
