Hey Albert!  Wow, how can I not at least say hello? There are not many men on this forum that post so I just wanted to say hi!  Time Out Is: 3 Nectar Protein Shakes a day made with water, not milk or juice.  All the water and calorie free non carbonated beverages you can drink. At least 64 oz a day THAT"S IT!!! I did this for a couple weeks and it really helped me wrap my mind around the proper way to eat again and just totally refocused me on doing what was right. A lot of people have bashed the idea as "anorexia, crash dieting, ect." Well, I am here to tell you it really helped me get back in control of my habits. Before I started TO I was constantly grazing and eating things that would put me to sleep! It sucked. Anyway, I am "de-carbed" now and doing fine. Great to see you! Molly

The Bronx Zoo or Central Park or other?  We have a membership and are there all of the time!

I LOVE THE CENTRAL PARK ZOO.....it's one of my favorites...esp the seal feeding...it's much better then the aqarium.....at least in my opinion.  Thanks for getting the info on the time out program...have you started it yet?  Scott

Dang! A real life MAN on this board!!!! How cool is that??? And a zooman to boot!  If the TO seems a bit radical for you there's always the Plateau buster but personally..... I think the TO seems to help you with getting a serious grip on any out of control eating issues you have. I tried to just put myself back to day one of my surgery (a day I will NEVER forget), and think back to that first month. I even do that when I'm tempted to slip. I'm on day 8 of TO...still deciding whether to keep on this for another week or go to Plateau. I think I've got a handle on the emotional issues now...and I've rid myself of the simple sugar addiction but boy that can come back SOO easy if you start in...I now am getting ill when I eat them. It actually only took four days to "reset" my pouch. I just ate two ozs. of meat and feel very satisfied. (just like when I was about three or four months out from surgery). This pouch really is a gift (expensive!) so it's good to use it before we get too carried away.  So welcome to the board. Please hang around! It's nice to see your face on here. Oh, and I'd LOVE to hear about what it's like to work in a zoo. Seriously, it's very cool!
