Congratulations on the new addition. Have you tried going back to basics ? Protein firs****er, veggies and fruit ? Don't forget your vitamins. I know the Grads Board are doing a "Time Out" here is a link for some info.

I don't know if gaining 55 pounds means you need a revision. I wasn't to sure by your post, but I am assuming you just had a baby? . Your body is out of whack. With hormones and everything it is going to take a while for your body to get back to normal.Give yourself a break, stop beating yourself up. Why don't you look for a nutritionist who works with bariatric patients first ,before you look to have a revsion. Also, you might want to consider....do you plan on having more kids, if so, you can't have a revsion every time you get pregnant. if you ever need any support please feel free to email me

If diet isn't working, you could just have a bariatric surgeon take a look at your pouch and stoma and verify they are still the size and shape they are suppose to be. Then decide from there if you need a revision or if you can do it on your own with diet and exercise. Start with baby steps.

Hi. It's been years since I've posted, but sounds like we are in the same situation. I had lap RNY in 2000, went from 325 to 225 then had two children and gained with both pregnancies. Now I can eat anything and I don't feel full. I know the basics. I truly believe my stoma is stretched as I never had the intense fullness. Over time it did get worse. I think I tried to gain with my pregnancies fearing my babies weren't getting enough nutrients. Let's keep in touch. I have an appointment about a revision on the 16th. I'm praying there is a good solution for me. I relate to your frustrations and feel a *****eated that I never had the loss I wanted.
