how are all youT/O doing
Hi HQ! I just posted to you on a different post...I'm doing okay I guess. I'm in a bit of a funk....if you can somehow drop a brick on my head via these posts I'd love it! I need to exercise. The protein intake is perfect, well, near perfect.....but I've got to get moving....Congrats on the loss! I'm at six pounds and holding. I had a three pound drop in one day (Tues. I believe) and nothing since then. Oh well, I'm back in the groove with my eating, I just can't seem to get motivated with my walking...weird...it's not usually like me. Could be I'm tired from all of the painting (or the fumes have pickled my brain?) Oh boy! the excuses I can come up with!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good to hear from you today....I'll hop back on here later tonight and check in with you...this is always my hard time...4:00 to bedtime.....
I am back from vacation and started my modified TO with protein meal and drinks otherwise. I have started with the mild headache this evening after being low carb all day. That is not so fun to look forward to, but I realize the carbs detoxing from my system are apparently a problem or why else would I need a detox! While on vacation I did NOT pig out on things, a dab of this or that, I did have bread, pasta, rice, potatoes but did NOT jump whole hog into the usual vacation sugarfest. So I plan to regain my control with protein, what WAS nice is that I am ot craving carbs like when I was doing them all of the time. I want to keep going with this for a week or so, then get back to adding the low carb foods I should be sustaining myself with.
Here is some motivation for you... you need to walk if not your 5lb loss will just be from water,,, and muscle. now you dont want that do you, dont you want it to be a fat loss???? GET UP AND move your booty even if it is for 1/2 hr.... Get off your duff and move.... go now dont delay !!! I bet you will lose another 3-4lbs by sunday if you move those legs...WONT THat be a big BIG encouragement>>>>>>> it's a bet 1st one to lose 4lbs is the winner,,,, I love a chalenge, if you were closer i would shake on it and make it a $$$ bet... so i am going to walk tonight at 9:pm CA time. for at least 1 1/2 miles wich is only 35 min. on my treadmil while watching t.v.
ok guess what i just discovered, 7-11 out here has a crystal light sugar free slurpee,, i just got one and it is yummy, i am sure hoping though that it is what it says it is, can you imagine if they put the wrong stuff in the machine and it is sugar (i got a 22 oz) it would kill me.... LOL.
post me after you take a walk, dont make me send after you....
Hey HQ! Ohhhh you're the BEST! Yep, I did walk! It took a huge thunderstorm that knocked out all of our power to both dishes so I had no TV and No internet!!! But I did walk. Listen to this....
I did my Leslie S. Walk away the pounds tape by myself with no tape! We didn't have any power!!! But I decided that I know the thing by heart so I just started marching in place, doing my side steps, knee lifts, kicks and kickbacks, lifted those 3 lbs weights, etc. for 30 minutes. Just wanted to jump on here and let you know I did so!!! Thanks for the BRICK! Which we had a little icon of a brick! So, I am going to get right into it today now that we have power again. I decided that I am going to get up each and every morning, soak in the tub to relieve my arthritis pain and lupus pain, dry off and get my butt moving first thing!
Oh, and I had an "I CAN'T DO THIS" moment last night. I'm going to post it seperately....
Thank you so much for caring HQ! How are YOU doing????? Hope you're motivation is still going strong today. Mine is coming back!
Hi All,
I took a 4 day T/O form my modified T/O, LOL. and thus far have maintained my loss of 12 pounds. SO I have learned that the plan, for me, works well to help me get in touch again with my pouch. I believe I was getting desensitized to my bodies signals. So going a week on a very strict plan, like my modified T/O has helped me "reset". I am craving carbs much less and I am realizing my sense of fullness much more easily. Would I like to lose a few more pounds, you bet. Will I use this modified plan again, you bet. I am a much happier person without so many food choices. Probably that is what I like the best. It is too easy for ME to make poorer choices when I have an unlimited menu.

Hello, I also posted this on the post (topic) after this one on the Board.
I have been on the TO for 3 weeks with a total of 18 lbs lost, but most of all it cleared my mind and actually made me feel good, more energy.
For Dinner I have a salad and protein (chicken, turkey, fish or cut-up steak). It really reset my mind and I do believe my pouch. I eat less, but most of all I really think what I am putting in my mouth. Does that Chip really have more value than a chicken leg, well maybe to my thighs it does, cause that is where the Chip is going to end up.
All I can say is sometimes we get lost and we need to get back on road to head to our destination, which road we choose is only up to us and no one else.
So what works for some may not work for others and that is fine and what I call FREE Choice.
Good-Day to ALL
Laura
I got back on TO when I got home from vacation this week and started with a mild headache that I thought would last for 4 days like when I initially did my detox on time out, but since I did NOT gorge on carbs while on vacation I only had my little detox headache for the one day!! Last night was VERY difficult wanting the emotional release of eating bread and chocolate. It was completely NOT physical since I have been on TO, but things were happening that were very upsetting to me emotionally and I wanted the Peanut M+M's VERY badly. Fortunately I was able to process my thoughts/feelings, then had some cheese (so I ate something) and was able to keep the sugar eating monster at bay. To me this TO is really about getting protein and low carb veggies (salad, celery, cukes) to get myself on track and focus on how I was supposed to eat after having WLS.
