Hi Everyone, Sorry for not posting yesterday.  It was my Birthday and by the time I got off the boards it was 7:00CST and we were  headed out to dinner!  I know you understand.. So, the weekend I went to the gym Saturday and did my Barbell class and Cardio Kick Boxing.  Sunday I took off as my upper body workout was killing me.  In a good way Yesterday I did lower body, squats, leg presses and band side steps and lunges.  Today, I did cardio with my core class. So my friends, Did You Move To Lose and or Maintain?  Come on and let's get some cals burned before the big 4th of July bash!!!! Stay Strong, Sexy and Sassy!!! Take care, Kathy

Hey, Kathy!  Whew - I DID exercise - but not as much as you!!  I walked for 60 minutes on my treadmill and then walked all over Greenville shopping with my daughter.  I hate every minute of exercise but I do it and I DO feel better after!

Hugs,
Connie

Hi Amanda, I just had someone post on the main board where they were bummed as the doctors says she could "only" do water workouts and feared it was not a good way to exercise.  I think you can set her straight on this one  You can get a GREAT workout in the water!!! Great job and awesome example my friend Take care, Kathy

Does cleaning out the patio, back porch, and cleaning the patio furniture for 4 hours count? I can't belive I had that much energy and I did a bunch of other things in between too! I crashed about 9:15 though - time for bed! Diona

Kathy, I missed your post last night, but a belated Happy Birthday! Yest., I went to my step aerobic class, then did leg strength training.  Later in the evening, I went out and took a moderate-intensity walk for about 50 min.  I thought it had cooled down enough to be comfortable, but oh lordy, the humidity was still higher than I thought, and I came home drenched!   Today, I didn't get in any "formal" exercise; however, this evening my hubby & I helped a friend's daughter move to a different apt., and so I lugged boxes!  She doesn't have all that much, so it didn't take us that long, but I figure it was better than nothing'!!

Always,
Jo

I have not been posting my exercise but think I will try to do so.  I mostly lurk out here.  I went to a weight-lifing class yesterday and walked two miles. Patricia 262/130 5'1' RNY 3/11/05
