Hi DB, May I say, you look simply mahvalous dahling - great photo, you are beautiful ... Sorry to hear the pot pie did not go down well, do you still have many foods that = ?  Just remember to keep up your protein, one way or another - try a couple different kinds of shakes and add them into your diet, if that helps... I go through barf periods. It's weird, sometimes I'm okay and other times I'm not. I've been gaining weight over the past year and I'm turning it around. -=db=-

Hi DB - I'm glad to hear you have taken a stand to find a way to turn around and bite your weight gain in the butt ...You, me, all of us, we took a major step in changing our lives by have WLS, we are ALL stronger for it than we ever thought we would be...Whatever I can do to help you on this new leg of the journey, please ask, and of course, please come in and post with us... Okay, so you posted your food, does that mean you keep a regular food tracking journal?  To me that would be the best way to see if you can pin down what it is that triggers your "barf periods", and it may not even be the food, it could be stress, or remember in the early days how we had to really chew everything, maybe the texture of your choices is not digesting well and causing the foamy thing that makes you ...I don't know, just tossing out ideas here...Anyway, hope to see you tomorrow...  Alesia

Just in from the beach and remembered to come post.  B - hot chocolate L - italian steak sub (no bun) curly fries  - I know bad Laurie, bad!!! LOL D - Chicken pitta S - left over cake.... YIPPIE it's finally gone!!!! NO more cake for me.  totals were high for what I ate.  Calories: 1245 Protein: 98g  Carbs: 98 g Fat: 51g

Hi Laurie, Don't worry so much about the totals, some days the pie is just not going to equal out...The important part of the picture is getting enough cals & protein to keep the body and mind happy...I've noticed when I eat several meals out the numbers are always over skewed especially heavy in the carb area, even if the other totals look good too...Work with it, not every day will be like this one...You made pretty healthy choices overall... Doing good, Alesia!!  And yay for the scale going down!!   My daughter is visiting from Columbia for a couple of days.  I walked on the tread for 60 minutes this morning and then we pounded our butts all over Greenville shopping all day!!  Whew!!!  That bed'll feel good tonight!! B - 3/4 c Glucerna flakes w/raisins w/2 T ground flax, 1 c ff milk, banana S - 8 oz nsa lf strawberry yogurt, AchievONE L - 1 T pb, 1/2 c cherries, sf Jell-O, O'Coco's, 2 sf Werthers S - 1 pack WW cheddar twists, AchievONE D - 3 oz salad w/1 oz lf shredded cheese, sf Jell-O cup w/ff RW, sf fudgie S - 1 oz apple chips, 3/4 oz Provolone cheese Plus I had 65 oz water, 16 oz half decaf coffee, 17 oz diet green decaf tea, 12 oz cf Diet Coke, 12 oz diet orange and cream soda, 16 oz sf ff hot cocoa w/ff RW and instead of treading, I cleaned the whole house and dusted EVERYTHING!!!!! Total calories:  1642 fat - 48g; carbs - 212g; protein - 98 g

I felt like had a terrible day, total calories ended up ok, but too many carbs and not enough protein. My day started off pretty good but then......... Had an argument with my DH

Oh boy Sher, You hit it right on the nailhead for me too...I can so sabatoge myself from eating for stress reasons, I become a bad grazer when I'm stress - might graze on all sf, but its still candy or cookies or pies or cakes, you get the picture and it's still tooooo much...I see in the posts frequently about people continuing to struggle with the mental aspects of weight loss...I know part of what caused mine was pushing down various issues in my life by eating another bite and it was always a bite of something of worthless food value, like hoho's or salt and vinegar chips... Anyway, I hope you work out your fuss with the DH or at least agree to disagree...In the meantime, put somekind of healthy snack choice of something you really lik in the fridge for when you reach for stress eating... Tomorrow will be better...  Alesia
