Accountability - What did you eat, Sunday 6/24?

Welcome to Monday Everyone, Well guys,  I would not classify this entire weekend from Friday on, as being a very good one as far as food choices go...I wasn't crazy eating everything in sight and didn't even think that I was really making really bad choices most of the time, but it still added up to way more cals & carbs than I wanted to consume...Sometimes I make stuff and think, OK this is homemade I know whats going into it so I know how healthy it is, then when I get around to breaking it down on the recipe analyzer it is way more than I expected for making what I feel is a healthy alternative, man that's frustrating...Still I do think I'm better off cause I made it myself... Today I'm working on my attitude on commitment...By this I mean :  I know I'm committed to keeping off all those pounds for the rest of my life - Some days I will eat wrong, some days better, sometimes I will consciously choose to make a poor choice or 2, some days I will be zealously committed to being perfect ...I am human, not an automaton that always does and acts the same...I must accept this about myself and know that I can be human and still keep my committment... I am THE CAPTAIN of my ship, my destiny, my life...Thanks for listening...'nuf said... My weekend went as planned. I enjoyed cake at our party. I've been pretty darn sick to my stomach lately though. I'm thinking its just stress of getting ready to move and everything. I'm dealing with quite a groucy pouch.  Sunday:  B - hot chocolate w/ protein L - potato soup and a couple of bites of chicken S - piece of cake (very small, about three bites worth) D - cheeseburger no bun That was a lot of WORK!!! Now today, I'm feeling hungry.   Who knows the reasoning behind the pouch. LOL

Hi Laurie, Glad you enjoyed your "planned" bad moment and the cake (YUMMY) I'm planning one of those moments in September for my birthday - we have a place here in my town that bakes the most killer cakes and I am definately ordering my b-day cake from them ...

Funny about how the pouchie knows : eat less today = eat more tomorrow...At least thats how mine reacts...Looks like a preggy good day though... Try not to stress the move, it will all go down, no matter what, so go with the flow, and I should know 'cuz we've moved 7 times in the last 20 years...

Later...Alesia

I cannot do any really greasy pizza which usually translates into deep dish or alot of meat or cheese, I also go for light amount of sauce...The perfect answer to these is the cheap pizza...For me that means the 5 5 5 deal at dominos - the kids get 1 pizza each with what they like, I get the thin crust with mushrooms for me and the dogs, and I eat on it for 2 days... 'cuz its a cheapie pizza, ya know 5 bucks for a pizza, the amounts of sauce, cheese and other toppings is minimal, but the thin crust is a great crispy bite and the few toppings add just the right amount of flavor... Might work for you... Alesia

yeah the same with me.. I didnt eat enough on Saturday but made up for it on sunday..lol.. I checked that chinese food and it was the sugar content.. 15 grams.. ouch.. no wonder I got sick.. I need to look at it before i eat it next time.. who would think beef and brocolli would have so much sugar in it. oh well.. I am learning from each mistake I make.. the hard way..

Sunday.. i was a food monster at least I felt like one with everyone over.. how dare they bring torilla chips.. one of my weakness.. i had all this good food planned out and they bring chips... grrr...

B- 1.5 egg with cheese and ham omelete

S- protein shake

L- I tried it.. rye bread with chicken slice.. could only eat 1/4 of the sandwich.. i toasted it. didnt bother me but didnt really enjoy the bread all that much either.. ended up just eating the meat...

S- 1 serving of torrilla chips with salsa and cream cheese.. grrr....

D- 2 oz of turkey burger with cheese and 1/4 cup baked beans...

S- ice cream with protein.. I needed more protein

Totals- calories 1356... fat 54.. carbs 84 and protein 112

Needed to drink more but got at least 80 oz in..

well i will do better today.. i guess it wasnt that bad when you look at it.. i just felt guilty for eating the carbs I think..

Hellllooo Carla, Not a bad day at all, I would say...And everyone needs a treat once in a while, heck I have tortilla chips a couple times a month usually, as a matter of fact I have nachos on the dinner menu for  Wednesday of this week, so will have some then for sure...

Keep up the great job Carla!  Alesia

Wow, did I screw up this weekend!!  I didn't even count my food for Fri or sat.  I just get overwhelmed with it all sometimes.  Sun I was more aware but didn't track or post.  But today is a new day and I will get right back on track.  My energy level is low and I'm sure it's the crap I've been eating.  Mostly protein and starch.  No veggie/fruit.  Not enough water.  No exercise. Thanks for allowing me to vent!!!!  I'm not perfect or gonna beat myself up - I'll just move forward with today!! Brunch:  1/2 Hamburger with 1/2 bun Late Lunch:  1/2 turkey sandwich, fat free chips 1 1/2 servings Dinner:  Meatball Lean Pocket,  fat free chips 1 serving Snack:  1/2 c. high protein special k, sugar free pudding cup

Hi Niecey, Man, on Saturday I was really playing around with skipping posting for the day, I spent the whole morning lying in bed talking to my SIL, meanwhile I was too lazy to get up and ge****er or protein or anything, so I was really late (11 o'clock) getting started on my day, which really bummed me out and seriously tempted me to just say forget it and start over with posting on Sunday... Of course I did eventually get to sitting down and posting on Saturday...I've got to post, otherwise the control is really lost, need that accountability...You're back on the horse though I see and Sunday does not look like a bad day at all, not your best but I'm sure you've had worse...Today is a new day, each one a new chance... See ya tomorrow Alesia
