Hello to All ... Hope you are having a great weekend, across the weather map, overall the day looks pretty good and hopefully we are all seeing the benefit of that... Well as post Friday was pretty low on the charts for me and as I usually do, Saturday I made up for it...Guess its the body's way of giving and taking, which is OK with me, as long as it all balances out in the end ( if you know what I mean) B - 2 sf choc chip cookies       10 oz choc/coconut Protein on the Go S - 2 hersheys mini L - Protein Delight vanilla blondie with 1 tsp on peanut butter on top S - 1 sugar cookie        1" square of monterey herb and habenaro cheese       1/3 slice ciabatta bread with olive tapenade on top        ( was at the grocery and it was sample time ) S - 2 prunes D - 3 oz shake-n-bake pork chop       1/3 cup cheesy spoon bread        1/4 peas-n-carrots S - 1 orea        2 sf chocolates PLUS -  50 oz water/crystal light and 10 oz hot tea with lemon & honey TOTALS  =     Cals - 1369     Fat - 63     Carbs - 134       Protein - 84 Terrible water day, definately need to get in more today, sipping now and will take it back into the bedroom with me to keep sipping while I lay in bed and wait for the boys to come home from early morning fishing...  Alesia

It's a beautiful day here in California. Kids have been swimming all week and today will be no exception. We have friends coming over for a late lunch bbq so that will be fun and planning a great menu for everyone including my MIL who is diabetic.

B- Protein shake

L- turkey burger meat with cheese. 4 oz total

S- protein bar

D- BBQ pork and Brocolli beef... opps didnt see the sugar content...

S- couldnt even eat my ice cream..

Bad calorie day for me.. calories 1010 ... carbs 50.. Fat 43... protein 100...

I will try and do better... i go in cycles with once i have a day of it it last a few days.. grr.. my have a tummy flu..

Hi Carla, Sorry to hear the tummy is a little off, I hope it is not the flu for your sake, that would suck since you just got rid of sickness at your house...Looks like the food that gave the you the barfs was Chinese Food, am I guessing right?...Anyway, I can't eat any chinese food since surgery, have tried it 4 or 5 times over the last 2 years and it always does, so I can empathize... Have a great day, know you have it well planned since you have to account for someone who is diabetic, that helps keep you on track too...  Alesia

Awwww - don't get down on yourself, Alesia!!  You're still doing real well!! Hubby and I just got back from seeing "Waitress".  It was SO good!!!! B - AchievONE, 8 oz nsa lf strawberry yogurt S - 1 whole wheat waffle, banana, 3/4 oz provolone cheese L - 3 Triscuits w/1 T pb, 1 pack O'Coco's, sf Jell-O cup, 2 sf Werthers, 1/2 c cherries S - Smart One 3 cheese ziti marinara, sf Jell-O cup w/ff RW, sf fudgie D - AchievONE, 3 oz salad w/1 oz lf shredded cheese and 2 T lf TI dressing S - 1 oz multigrain nacho chips w/1 oz lf shredded cheese and salsa, 1/2 c grapes Plus I drank 64 oz water, 16 oz half decaf coffee, 24 oz sf ff hot cocoa w/ff RW, 12 oz cf Diet Coke, 12 oz diet orange cream soda and I treaded for 60 minutes. Total calories - 1631 fat 45 g; carbs 205 g; protein 102 g

Hi Connie, Lookin' good girl!!!  I want to know how you keep going to the movies and not succumbing to the call of popcorn and other movie goodies, to me going out to see a movie automatically means I'm having popcorn and I always bring a couple of sugar free candies from home to go with it so I have the full movie package...You are strong woman ... Well, sometimes I DO get popcorn!!  The previous 2 times I got it for "lunch" along w/an AchievONE.  I don't do butter, though.  (Only 'cause it makes me !  LOL)  The rest of the time, I drink water and try to ignore the popcorn smell siren!!

Perfect weather here too!! AM: Coffee BRK: 3 slices of bacon and Nectar protein drink LUN: 1 pc whole wheat bread, chicken, 1 T mayo, mustard ( i was dying for some bread) SNK: 2-3 ozs cheddar cheese and 18 cashews DNR: chicken breast  and 1 glass of merlot SNK: sugar free popsicle 1261 calories 37 carbs 98 grams of protein Happy Eating!! ~Summer

Hi Summer, Thanks for stopping by to post...You had a really good food day, including the bread - sometimes it is better to give into those cravings to keep them under control and I really believe carbs are not evil, they just need to be limited to good carbs from fruits, veggie and whole grain choices for the most part Alesia
