Planning to be BAD
Welcome WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!! Whew, this has been a busy week for me. We had to make a trip to Oklahoma for dh's job interview. Too many hours driving in the car for me.
Well - today is our "going away party". (we're moving from Michigan to Oklahoma to attend Bible college). I'm "planning" on being bad today and againg tomorrow. But I think that by planning it out I'll do just fine.
Today we're having sloppy joes () chips, veggie tray, and CAKE!! I'll be getting carry out for my food (probably chicken) and I'm planning on having some cake!!!! It feels GREAT to know ahead of time what I'm doing and that it's OK to do it!!
Tomorrow our church is having a send off party for us as well and again there will be cake. I probably won't do cake two days in a row, cuz I don't really like cake that much. But I'll grab some cut up watermelon from the store and eat that while everyone else is eatting cake.
I love not living on a "DIET"!!!! Things like this can happen and there's no guilt for me at all.
Hope you all have an awesome weekend!!!!!

Hi Laurie,
I think its good that you know whats coming and you know you're going to stray and that you know that it is going to be OK...You are absolutely right, we are not living a diet, we are living a life changing event and during that event life happens, roll with it...Great attitude ...And I think it will go a long way in helping you keep control...I would like to think I'm treating life with a similar attitude...
Just my two cents ...Good luck with the move...Alesia
Hi Laurie. Interesting that you called your email "planning to be BAD." It's really not being bad, it's just doing what everyone else does when they are involved with something festive. For some people being "bad" can lead to throwing in the towel and eating everything in site that isn't nailed down. Hope you have a wonderful time and enjoy every minute of the goodies you'll be having. Wilma
