Accountability - What did you eat, Thursday 6/21?
Yeah Connie,
I know what the reaction is going to be, but got to have my chocolates and other sweets so just accept that other people may not want to be too close at those times ...
I've had those apple chips, pretty tasty...You had a good day, was the total cals a little better? Keep working a good program, make the right choices, stay on track...In the end it all balances out...

Hi, Alesia. I hope you have a great weekend!! "I am the captain!!"
I forgot to post my Fitday totals yesterday. Yes, they were better! My total calories were 1612; fat 49 g; carbs 192 g and protein 97 g. I lost another 1.2 pounds this week so maybe things are starting to click a little (I hope, I hope, I hope!!)!! LOL
And I know what you mean - I have to have my sweet fix. If that dooms me, it dooms me but I've had to give up enough and have done so willingly but I have my limits!! LOL
Hugs,
Connie

Hi Tabitha,
Welcome aboard the accountability cruise...Our motto - You are "THE CAPTAIN" you steer the ship, you decide if you are getting into your scheduled port of call or taking a detour to some other exotic destination ...Post with us as often as you like, daily if you want, okay?
See you've been a member since 2005, is that your surgery year also? Are you still trying to loose or maintaining? I see 3 meals, each a very good blend of protein, carbs, fat and cals, this is fantastic - however I do want to send out a word of caution on the total cals and protein - if you eat this low every day or even regularly, and you are over a year out from surgery, you are going to have deficiency problems eventually and this you don't want...You didn't work sooo hard to get here and go thru major body changes to mess up your health by not getting in enough to provide the energy you need for daily activities and life...I urge you to look at increasing cals to at least around 1000 if not more daily and protein up to 65 -80 as a minimum, talk to your doc and nutricianist, I'm sure they will back up what I'm saying... I want you, me, all of us to be the best we can be, please come in a post again and again, I love to see what others are doing and to get and give help and suggestions on what to do...
Hope to see you tomorrow... Alesia

Hey guys, I'm a lurker and love what you've got going here. I track on fitday and keep telling myself I'm gonna join in one day, but it just hasn't happened yet!
Anywho...sel, that chicken salad sounds really yummy. We've got a place around here that makes an unbelieveable one with grapes and pecans, but uses mayo and even though I haven't had any since the holidays, I have very bad thoughts every time I drive by! Do you have a recipe for that or do you get it from the market?
BTW, do any of you supplement with fiber? My doc hasn't required it, but I knew I wasn't getting enough so I started adding some to my drinks and salads. I even found a great lo-carb wrap that has like 5g protein AND 6g fiber, which is a nice change from tossing everything on a salad or veggies! If you do, what do you use and how many grams total do you shoot for a day?
Thanks!
Hey 01 Mommy,
Thanks for dropping in and saying a few words, join us when you are ready, but really here for everyone, lookie-lou's and post'rs alike...
As for your question on fiber, I know I found since surgery I don't get enough just thru the foods I eat - so I add...Benefiber unflavored powder is my fav choice, put a couple of tsp in my protein frappachinos or mix 1 tsp in with my peanut butter when I'm having that, sometimes even just desolve it in my crystal light, mixes well not grainy aftertaste, just melts away...But, definately adds to keeping things moving in the right direction...
Come back again anytime... Alesia
Hi Sher,
Like your food day, you did good...I know in my heart that the scale is going to show positive results for you, it has too, you are doing sooo great at staying on track, making the right choices, getting in regular exercise of some sort ( and yes that includes all that painting and gardening, thats exercise too )...
Looking forward to the weekend, DH will work tomorrow so I get a chance to try and re-organize my scrapping area after I get the boys to help me do a little picking up around the house...
See you soon Alesia
