Hey, I think you had a GREAT day, doesn't seem like the food is totally taking over, so that is a good thing and a glass or 2 of wine occasionally surely doesn't hurt...I don't drink to often, but when I decide to, I usually go overboard and have too much, so congratulate yourself on knowing how to limit it...

I really like to use my berries for cakes too, have you tried making sugar free angel food as a better alternative (if you are feeling guilty about the regular shortcake that is)?
Was the cake what filled you up, you think ( all that bulk?) cause man you're right, didn't eat much...If you are like me when you short change yourself one day the next the body just wants more to make up for it - of course it goes the other way for me too, I was just saying if I go overboard on day, the next I really could care less about eating - guess this is a good thing and works pretty well for me...
