Hi Everyone ... Well, guess I jumped the gun a day early on announcing summer arriving - that would be officially today - SO Welcome to Summer Everybody !!! Yesterday turned out to be a pretty good day, feel good about my choices, quanities and how it all split up on the Fitday pie graph, didn't get up early enough to preplan today's meals so will be winging it for most of the day - goal today will be to "keep it real" B - 10 oz  Protein on the Go S - 1oz lf cheddar       10 mini cheddar pretzels L -  1/2 salad with purple onions, cucumber, cheese & tomato w/ 1 tbsp honey mustard dressing       1 cup ravioli with meat sauce        6 asparagus spears w/ sun dried tomatoes on top ( ummmm, good) S - 12 dark chocolate prune bites D - couple bites of texas wedge salad w/ blue cheese crumbs, bacon and jalapeno ranch       1 small yeast roll and margarine       2 1/2 oz rare prime rib       3 cheese fries       1/8 of a roasted red potato S - 3 sf peanut butter wafer cookies PLUS -  70 oz water/crystal lite and 16 oz hot tea with creamer TOTALS  =     Cals - 1316     Fat - 59     Carbs - 114     Protein - 87 ( could have been better  ) Until later - Alesia

Hi Alesia, yesterday wasnt a bad day. i was snacking last night but i wrote it all down. still my calories are pretty good. first day of summer and its cool out here. sun is trying to warm things up. we are going camping this weekend. hubby is not sure if we will go the whole week. he is on vacation. any good foods can you think of to take. i want to stay on track while camping. will bring a notebook and write it all down.we do have a coleman stove we will be using.. anita

Hello Anita, Camping sounds fun, I haven't been since I lost all this weight, but used to love going when we lived in Cali and still have all the stuff, only now we break out the gear for hurricane parties instead of camping trips ... We always pack a HUGE cooler with meats, fruits and cheese for camping trips then keep it loaded up with fresh ice...So I would say stick to the best grill basics - chicken, hamberger, no fat hotdogs, that kind of thing, supplement with power crunch, Oh yeah and other protein bars and maybe take a few powder mixes you like that only need water - skip the potato and pasta salads as much as possible, bring lf chips if you need something like that or already popped popcorn ( costs more but stores better in the sealed bags )... Yes you sure did have a good day, you are doing great and are definately steering the ship on a straight course...Keep up doin' what you're doin' and enjoy the vacation... See ya soon...  Alesia

we are leaving to camp friday after hubby gets out of work. we are only camping 4 days. i did get some tuna that has some crackers to take with me. just 2 small containers. 2 meals.. my power crunch bars are almost gone.... :-( i love them things frozen. i bought 2 boxs of akins bars today at walmart. so i do have them... so thats it for now.. anita

Hi, Alesia!  Happy Summer!!  I was really surprised by my calorie total for yesterday - yikes!!  I thought I had done pretty good but apparently not.  Oh, well, today's a new day!! B - 1 c Cheerios w/2 T ground flax, 1 c ff milk, banana S - 1 pack pb on wheat crackers, AchievONE      12 oz ff sf decaf mocha latte' at the grocery store L - 80% dark chocolate bar (I knew THIS would be bad), 1/2 c ff cottage cheese w/1 T sf boysenberry jam, 1/2 c cherries (sorry, Alesia ), sf Jell-O cup, 1 pack O'Coco's S - nsa lf ice cream sandwich, AchievONE D - 1/2 Zaxby's chicken Zensation Zalad, sf Jell-O cup w/ff RW, sf fudgie S - 1 pack WW Cheddar Twists, 1/2 c grapes Plus I had 49 oz water, 16 oz half decaf coffee, 16 oz diet decaf green tea, 12 oz cf Diet Coke, 12 oz diet cranberry juice, 16 oz sf ff hot cocoa w/ff RW and I treaded for 30 minutes and did light weights for 30 minutes. Total calories:  2151 63 g fat; 269 g carbs; 122 g protein

Hi Connie, Man today I think I'm right on your tail for the bumped up calories, was doing fine until after dinner then just got the urge to eat and didn't stop with just a taste ...You know the biggest culprit was probably that salad at Zaxby's, still I don't see a day full of bad choices just some big counters...Start fresh tomorrow, I know I am, I AM THE CAPTAIN, I WILL drive this ship in the right direction !!! Alesia Yeah sure your sorry about the cherries , just think of me while you're eating them and maybe I can telekonetically get some joy out of you eating them...

I had an ok day yesterday as well except for at my snack time. when will i ever learn.. i ate my protein ball to fast didnt feel great the rest of the day.

B- protein shake

S- protein bar

L- 2 oz of chicken and 1/2 of watermelon and honeydew melon. yummy.

S- protein balls 2

D- almond crusted pork chops, squash and a bite of potatoes.

S- ice cream-- with protein

totals. calories 1138.. fat 48... carbs 57.. protein 131.

didnt drink enough maybe 60 oz yesterday. will pick that up today.

Hey Carla, You had a nice day...I know it still suprises my when something just doesn't go down right, mostly I think I'm past those little issues then one day the pouchie just rears up and ...Almond crusted pork chops sound really good, made from scratch?  Another one I'm gonna have to had to my "try it" list...  Alesia

Hi everyone..So I went from wanting to eat everything in sight to not being hungry at all.  Explain that one to me..Yesterday's calories was really low for me and to be honest I kinda had to make myself eat.  I'm not sure what that was all about because it rarely happens that way.  Anyways, here's the day B: 20 oz sufar free caramel nonfat latte L: four cheese chicken S: 24 oz passion fruit iced tea lemonade S: salad with lettuce, tomato,onion, blue cheese, dried cranberries, croutons, and italian dressing D: seafood salad from subway S: 1/2 cup pumpkin with splenda, pumpkin spice, and 2 tablespoons ff cool whip Calories -- 1036 Carbs -- 100 Fat -- 38 Protein -- 73 So I guess that makes up for Tuesday.. Yep Kerri guess it does - My body does that too, I think that when you overfill one day the pouchie and intestines send out a signal to the brain that they are still full and you don't get the urge to eat the next day cause you just got enough already...At least thats how I'm hoping it will continue to work, cause I know I have those days when I just overdo it and the next day or 2 always seems to off balance the craziness ...
