Day 4 of TO
Starting day 4 of TO. Down 10.5 lbs. Amazing. Even though I know intellectually that Carbs are poison to me I am still awed when I go to protein just how much accumulated water and bloat I get rid of. What's more crazy is that even knowing and then seeing this I still manage to let them creep back into my diet.
10 more pounds to go, maybe 15, we'll see.

Carla,
You inspired me to try the TO. I am starting today. The evil carbs are hard to get rid of, but I'm determined to get ready for my two year anniversary. I've been approved for reconstructive surgery also (arms, thighs, upper and lower abdominal tuck) so I'm determined to get rid of the extra water, bloat, and inches. Luann
Oh my gosh! What a drop!!!! Well, that was all the inspiration I needed for the day. Thanks! I'm on day two but had a slip during the night and ate a piece of 15 grain bread...I've been struggling this morning but have had 30 gms. of protein so far and lots and lots of water....(sigh) I forgot how tricky the first few days can be. Thanks so much for sharing your success! lbb_yogawoman1
You GO Carla
I am on my third week have lost a a total of 17 pounds, I think it would have been more, BUT I had two weddings to go to and ate dinner at the weddings.
Aren't you amazed at how you feel so much better
I also went through my closet and was able to fit into clothes that were too tight 2 weeks ago. So we are losing inches too. Stay on track and say no to the Junk Food
Laura
Carla,
You are doing great. It is truly amazing how positively our bodies respond when we eliminate those carbs - and not just sweets - for me, crackers and chips are even more evil than sweets.
I am so grateful to my surgeon for starting me on this program - it has given me new hope - and not only is my body smaller, my attitude is soooooooooooooo much better.
Keep up the good work.
Patty
