Hi Everyone,

Well I need to make this fast.  My puppy is losing his mind.  He wants me to take him for a walk.  He has pulled out my shoes, fetched his leash, licking my toes and now chewing on my chair.  I think he is a little ADD....

I went to the gym today and did my Barbell Strength class and then my Kick Boxing class....Boy did I need to get some stuff off my chest.  There was a face at the end of all those kicks and punches

So my friends, Did You Move To Lose and or Maintain Today?  Come on and show everyone what you are made of?  I don't care if you cleaned house or washed the car.  Show us you are movin and not sitting!!!

Hi Kathy, well I did not get in my regular walk on my tredmill ,but, I did do a lot of bending and some walking when I was picking some lovely strawberries at a local farm. The last time I went picking them was two years ago(before wls) What a difference this time I could of stayed there another hour. The previous time I  thought I was going to pass out, and I could barely make the walk back to my car. It is just amazing to me how much of difference this surgery has made in my life.  Sher

Hi Kathy, I got a lot of movin' in today!  First, this morning I went to my very first yoga class at our local rec center--I was nervous, not knowing what to expect.  Several friends have been bugging me to come, so at least I had some buddies there.  I felt very uncoordinated, but for my first time, I guess I did as well as I could have expected.  It's just once a week, and I'm glad to have something else to add to my routine. Then, after yoga, I decided to go on to the gym and do my cardio (probably should have been the other way around, but oh well).  Did 45 min. And finally, this evening I mowed the lawn (push mower).   Glad I got this much in today, as we are having several couples in for a cookout tomorrow night, and I might not get a workout in tomorrow.  But I will at least be cleaning house! I'm headed for bed!

I moved twice on Wed. Once I walked the dogs with my son and we broke them into a real good run. He's almost 11 and runs past me like I'm standing still, but at least I can run again. Then this evening I did a 2 mile run/walk. Felt great. This morning I have a pulled groin muscle, so today I'll probably just walk the dogs and maybe do some upperbody weight training.
