Hello, hello And good morning to everyone...Last night I gave the recliner back to DH and returned to sleeping in the bed, feels good to be back in my own bed, much more comfortable even though I still mananged to wiggle my way down to almost flat on my back by morning and needed a little help getting up ...The scale was down another lb today, slowly but surely the surgery weight is dropping to the wayside ...I'm on the road for work today - this translates into plenty of water, I always do well drinking while driving ( that didn't sound right, but you know what I mean ) B - 10 oz white chocolate/strawberry Protein on the Go S - cinnamon bun Power Crunch       6 roasted almonds L - 20 decaf sf/ff fv & caramel latte       1/2 a biscotti S - 1 sf peppermint pattie       1 sf peanut butter cup D - 3 oz grilled cheese burger ( nothing like burgers on the grill for the best taste )       1/3 cup of green bean cassarole        3 french fries S - 1 cup watermelon S - 3 sf peanutbutter wafer cookies ( had before bed with my pain meds instead of the ritz) PLUS - 85 oz water/crystal light TOTALS  =     Cals - 1234     Fat - 54     Carbs - 96     Protein - 92 A great day to all, summer is officially here, hope the weather is good for each of you in your personal neck of the woods... Alesia

Hi Alesia, I bet it felt good to sleep in a bed instead of a recliner. i couldnt wait to sleep in my bed after my staples was out. i hope the scale works for you. i am trying to wait a week so far so good. anita

Hi Anita, Congratulations on a great day , take a bow...Mmmm, that blueberry crumb cake protein bar sounds good, did you get it at Walmart, I don't remember seeing that flavor there, but would not mind trying it... hi alesia, yup i got that blueberry crumb protein bar at walmart. it was very good but it was 200 calories. i thought it was alot of calories. it had white stuff all over it like a yogurt  stuff.. i guess... but it was good. i'm glad i am eating right. anita

horray.. i like to sleep in my bed and get mad at myself when I fall asleep on the couch.. so i feel you when you say u got to go back to bed last night.. I sleep in my own bed the day I got home from wls.. wouldnt have done it any other way..

Wow.. i had a tough day yesterday.. i guess it could of been worse... i was in a fruit mood... so when I get crazy like that I like to cook.. so I went home last night and made ambrosia and strawberry triffle for desserts for the week.. than I made a sf chocolate brownie I put sf ice cream on top of it, swirled sf chocolate syrup on it and covered it with whip cream... yummy.. that is for dessert on Sunday when grandma comes over (shes diabetic).. at least I didnt eat any of what I made.. but it makes the time pass and I love to cook.

L- a steak bowl with no rice from taco bell.. yummy...

D- chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, and green beans...

Hey Carla, Still looks like a good day to me , of course your carbs were higher, but they were accountable from the fruit, which is GOOD carbs, so try to to sweat that number and protein was awesome...I really get into baking modes too and just go crazy, will fix a ton of dessert stuff which DH and the boys end of eating ( and I don't hear any complaining from them about it either  )...Of course I always try to make at least one thing that is sugarfree so I can indulge myself too... Well yesterday happened to be that one or two days out of the month where I felt like eating everything in sight.  *sigh*  So yeah I was like way over my calories.  I think I am feeling back to normal today but still...I hate when those days creep up where I want to just eat and eat.  I swear I think it has something to do with being a woman.  Who knows.. B: 20 oz sugar free caramel nonfat latte S: 8 strawberries L: four cheese chicken and a salad S: 2 caramel candies and 2 tootsie rolls S: south beach pepperoni pizza  D: santa fe grilled chicken salad from sonic Calories -- 1669 Fat -- 66 Carbs -- 155 Protein -- 132 Well at least the protein looked good...Those dang candies were like 120 calories and 30 carbs and they were just small pieces...I've got to stay away from them.  If I hadn't eaten those I don't think my numbers would of really looked so bad.  Oh well...moving on to today.   Kerri

Hi Kerri, Hey, ya know, I think we all have these days, I know I get one every couple of months were I really have to pull in the reigns cause I think if its not nailed down I'm eating it and I don't even have to be hungry for me to go into this mode - just another one of the many phases of post-op life I'm still trying to work out the why's & what for's about... Those candies really call me around my "time of the month" could you be coming into that?  Well, as you say, today is a new day, tomorrow will be better, I know it will... Woohoo - great day yesterday, Alesia!!!  You're doing SO good!!  And woohoo on the scale coming down!  I knew it would!! B - 3/4 c cinnamon cluster Honey Bunches of Oats w/2 T ground flax, 1 c ff milk, banana S - 8 oz nsa lf peach yogurt, AchievONE L - 1/2 c grapes, 1 T pb, 1 pack O'Coco's, sf Jell-O cup, 1 sf Werthers, 1 sf Dove chocolate S - 1 c sf ff white chocolate pudding, AchievONE D - WW sweet and salty bar, 3 oz salad w/1 oz lf shredded cheese and 2 T lf TI dressing, sf Jell-O cup w/ff RW, sf fudgie S - 1 oz lf Pringles, 1 oz Munster cheese Plus I had 64 oz water, 16 oz half decaf coffee, 16 oz decaf diet green tea, 12 oz cf Diet Coke, 16 oz sf ff hot cocoa w/ff RW and I treaded for 60 minutes. Total calories:  1718 48 g fat; 229 g carbs; 99 g protein

Hello Connie, Thanks for the encouragement, its really great to know you are out there lending support ...Didn't know Weigh****chers had a sweet and salty bar, is it low in "real" sugar? If yes, were to you get it? Hey girl, it doesn't look like you ate way of the chart yesterday but your total cals seems higher than usual, did you put it down right?  Either way, your food choices look great and you do consistantly well with getting in your exercise which in the end is the key, right - cals in/cals out... Keep up the good work, you make great choices, I'm proud of how well you've been working out the fruit cravings ...See ya tomorrow... Alesia
