Hey Guys, After dinner it was so nice out I just lost track of time..sorry for being so late with this post. Today I hit the gym and it was AB day.... Leg lift - straight and side Side bends with weights Row Pull down with bar incline sit ups with medicine ball plank walking plank crunches count of 4 and then 3 bicycle crunches crunches on the exercise ball Lastly (thank god) pull down crunches So my friends, Did You Move To Lose and or Maintain Today?  Come on in and let's get movin and losin!!! Hi Kathy, The step aerobic class yest. didn't bother me (I'd been doing it a couple weeks), but the upper body weight workout (hadn't done for quite awhile) made me SO SORE today from the waist up  that it was almost laughable!   Today I did cardio for 40 min. and lower body weight training for about 20 min., so I figure tomorrow I'll be sore all over!  I used to faithfully do all of the above, so it goes to show how lazy my muscles have become.

Later this afternoon, I walked to the post office, which added a little less than 2 miles to my day.  Tomorrow I am going to my first yoga class.  I'm nervous!  But I'm determined to get back in the exercise routine and am trying to mix it up so I can stay motivated and get some of this weight back off. Hope you are feeling better than yesterday!

WoooHoooo!  I exercised TWO days in a row...it's a freakin miracle!!  I've had a hard time getting motivated and finding the time since our baby (10 mos.) was born...so this is a major feat! Anyway, on Tuesday I went for a 3 mile walk with my daughter and the baby (in stroller mostly).  After dinner, my 15 year old daughter plopped in front of the TV, and I got after her to shut the TV off, get outside and get some fresh air and exercise.  Suddenly a light came on in my head that I should be saying the same thing to myself (although I wasn'****ching tv)!!   For weeks I've laid in bed at night reviewing my day to see where opportunites for exercise or "me time" may have existed, but I missed them.  As a working mom of 4 chiildren, I really struggle with this!  Anyway, I'm so proud of myself for FINALLY recognizing one of those moments WHEN it was present, so I could tap into it!!  When  suggested we go for a walk, my daughter got excited and suggested we go the 3 mile route we used to do everyday, but haven't in a long time. The other good thing is that  I also had a good eating day yesterday.....I'm calling it my "pre-timeout" de-carbing plan......the only carbs I had all day were a handful of fat free pretzels and 3 strawberries.  I lost 3 lbs.!! Here's to continued better days!! Kathy
