Did You Move To Lose Today? LET'S GET MOVIN!!!!!
Oh, I am here often (every day). I am just a lurker mostly. I just love to exercise and do so about 6 days per week. So, when I saw the "did you move post" it got me out of lurkism for a moment. LOL. I had a trainer tell me to keep things mixed up so that my body didn't get used to the exercise and quit benefiting from it as well. So, I try to keep things changed up a bit and mix in a little of everything. It has worked well so far. My favorite class right now is a step, jump, and jab class that combines step aerobics with kickboxing. That is a cool class and a workout too. It is really fun. Well, talk to ya later. You take care too, Melissa
I was up at the crack of dawn this morning at the gym--- my every day routine, as painful as it is to drag myself there.
Today I did:
25 minutes on the treadmill
45 minute kick box class
Later I may jump on my mini-tramp while I watch the news.
Thanks for this post and this kind of accountability--- much needed!
Ok, first of all you have my GREATEST RESPECT!!! Anyone that goes to the gym with the chickens I admire and want to be just like !!!
Second, girl you said the magic word!! Kick boxing!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this class. I am trying to get out of a bad relationship and going and taking this class keeps me off Lexapro!!!
Awesome job!!! And yes, I do expect to see you here inspiring and sharing!!!
Take care,
Kathy
Now this is a great workout for summer!! I love it, sweat a little, swim a little, sweat a little!!!
This is really a great workout....Do you do any resistance training? You may want to as it really helps to build muscle. And us ladies really need all the muscle we can get...
See ya tomorrow!!!
Take care,
Kathy
Hi Erin,
Congratulations on knowing this is a very important part of keeping the pounds from coming back on.... That being said, I don't want it to be such a drag. Long term you won't do it. May I ask, how long have you been doing this? I tell everyone when they are trying something new, to give it at least 30 days of He$$. After that the buzz from working out and feeling good is there!!!
Also, try some other things. Like swimming, biking, roller blading, kick boxing, tennis!! There is something out there that will light your candle I promise!!
Also, make sure you are eating a really good high protein breakfast before working out. This makes a huge difference in your workouts and energy and results!!
You are doing AWESOME girl!!! Keep it up!!!
We grads are going to look fabulous come the end of summer or my name isn't KathyS!!!!!!
Take care,
Kathy
