Routines and Weekends

Does anyone else have a hard time on weekends? I work M-F 7:30 - 4:30 and when the weekend hits I'm usually so tired that I find myself not drinking enough and not eating right. I did better the last two weekends doing the Time Out since I didn't have to worry too much about eating but I still found I don't get enough liquids in. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas? Thanks, Diona

Water intake is my biggest hurdle on the weekend.  During the week at work, it sits on my desk where I live for nine hours per day.  I am not near anything remotely similar to a desk on the weekends.  My newest trick is a bottle of water before my first cup of coffee in the morning on the weekend.  I am lucky to enjoy water at any temperature so I have bottles in the car, in the den, in the bedroom, in the laundry room.  I sip sip sip as the day goes.  It still isn't enough, but I am improving.

I'm like you.  The structure of the workday keeps me on track.  On the weekends I'm running around or going places where I don't always want to be hauling a bottle of water.  But I do try my best to always have it with me.  I carry a larger purse just to accomodate that.  I know the best stores for public restrooms and "treat" myself at Barnes and Noble to an herbal tea--and their bathroom! I try to stay on my eating schedule, but even that is a struggle sometimes on the weekend.  You might want to be sure to add more fruit to your meals on the weekend since they have lots of water as well. Best of luck, Sally

I forget to eat and drink on the weekends.  I have a tough time overeating at work!  Isn't that strange?  I have to deal with head hunger while at work, I think it's more frustration some days and boredom other days.  I love my job, but you know how it goes!    I would think at work I would eat less because I am preoccupied.  On the weekends I am so busy and relaxed that food doesn't occur to me unless my stomach is growling.
