TIME OUT IS A TOOL - NOT A CURE

Melady, When I first posted about the Time Out, I had no idea that the response to it would be so great.  I was looking for a way to help make myself accountable and I know if I tell what I'm doing, then I'll come much closer to adhering to it. As they say, misery love company.  I am glad that others like me, who are having difficulties have found something to help them.  I have tried to stress from the onset that this is a personal thing - an option that my surgeon and I chose for me.  I really don't think anyone knows our bodies as well as we do - and we all must make the choices that work best for us. I am really an all or nothing personality - and for now, anyway, this is working well for me.  The discipline is very good for me - and I have found it very easy. Patty

I have been using a modified, yet still VERY effective version of the Time Out and I for one am grateful for it.  Basically it's getting back to our basic health.  I am relearning some very important things I have forgotten.  So, thanks for the great info, I really appreciate it!
Blessings~
