Starting Time Out today!
Hi Everyone!
Well, I am more of a lurker here, but, the Time Out has really intrigued me! I am almost three years out and have recently started to gain a little weight back, (I have had a few health issues which has prevented me from going to the gym) I am determined to get this eight pounds off now before it becomes 20lbs. I have started back to the gym and am ready to nip this in the bud! Thank you to all of you who have posted and I will let you know how I do!
Sandy
Good morning Sandy! I'm going to start a modified version of the TO plan. Breakfast, 1 AchievOne Protein Drink, Lunch, Nectar Fuzzy Navel Protein Drink and then dinner - solid food perhaps a small salad with grilled chicken. Lots of water during the day.
I'm just starting my 3rd year with WLS and trying to find the happy medium.
Wishing everyone here a most successful TO day!
Hugs,
Lucy
Hi,
I'm starting the Time Out today as well. I'm about 2 1/2 years out from revision from VBG to RNY. I started at 277 and the lowest I got was 177. I quit losing at about 8 months out when I began having some health problems not related to the RNY. I now weigh 185. I'm really disappointed that I never got close to my goal of 150 and sure don't want to gain any more...... so I'm going to try the Time Out for a while. I’m planning staying on the liquid protein only at least one week but hopefully two weeks then adding in a meal consisting of a salad and lean protein after that.
Oh I also rejoined my gym on Friday so I'm committed to getting in some aerobic exercise on a more regular basis. Good Luck Everyone

Hello.
Wanted to wish you good luck with your dr. hope you get what you want...I'm hanging in there and sometimes its a struggle with the time out, but so, so glad to be doing it! I have been working out at the Y and been doing about 4-5.5 miles on the eliptical and I'm hoping this will do me wonders! I have noticed a 4 lb loss so far....Thanks for the post.
Good Luck to you!
