Laura! Doesn't it feel great to get a fresh start and take back control? Great job. I know we are gaining a lot of confidence through this and with the proper planning and excecution can keep it off over the long term.  Happy weekend! Molly

Molly's very exclusive guide to protein shake on the go: Stick a 20 ounce bottled water in your freezer over night.  Grab it in the AM on the way to work. It'll be solid as a rock. Also bring along a pre-proportioned serving of protein powder (a scoop or two) along with a Crystal Light to go package.  Fashion a funnel out of typing paper or bring a small funnel. Pour in protein powder and add CL packet to taste. Shake well. The icemelt from your frozen water should make a nice shake with an icey core left rattling around in bottle.  When you drink down all of the protein shake your water bottle will look kinda gross but will still have a piece of ice rattleing around in it. Add more water, add more CL packet. Suck it down...yumm-o! Disclaimer: This only works with water based shakes. I always use Nectar. I think anything else using this method would be nasty! Also, if none of this works for you just buy some ready to drink shakes (RTD) and throw 'em in a cooler or gallon freezer ziploc filled with ice.

Hello,  I work in an office so it is easier.   This is my typical day so far,. Get-up 5:15am    have a cup of coffee with SF Creamer On the drive to work (45 mins) have a bottled water or 2 bottles Once at work(Breakfast)   protein shake  this is about 16 ounces.  I use the tupperware shaker.  The night before I usually scoop out the protein powder I am taking and place it in individual small containers. Snack (Between BK and LNCH) I have another two bottles of water with crystal light "Hydration with electrolytes) since I have been this crystal light I do not get the leg cramps anymore. Lunch:  Protein shake  16 ounces Snack:   Another bottle of water or 2 bottles with crystal light On the drive home:  I wil have one bottle of water if I did not drink two for my snack or I will have another protein drink for ride home. At Home:    I usually have a Cappuccino 60 cals   (I have the Tassimo machine) Dinner:  is another protein shake  Night time:   Water That is it so far.   I do not feel hungry or tired.

P.S.   forgot to mention,  I have been using mostly NECTAR protein powder and for at least one of my shakes I use Designer Pro Whey (Vanilla, Cappuccino) .  These are all mixed with water only.

If you prefer a pre-made shake in a can, I use the Atkins, it has only 2 carbs and a decent amount of protein. Since it is ready made you can chill it at home, then bring it to work in an insulated lunch bag with a little ice thingy to help keep it cold. Or if you are not doing all liquid, do your dense protein at lunch time.

This is fantastic Laura!  Good for you! I haven't been on the board in a while but I recently decided to go back to basics, from the beginning with liquids and upgrading stages from there and I had no idea that this was something that was called Time Out, I've been reading about it this afternoon and it's a great idea and I have to admit, it's working for me too.   Keep up the great work!!! ~Shannon
