Well I did another day of the higher calories and I didnt gain..yeah.. that makes me happy.. I guess this is what my body has been needing.. I am also feeling better.. I have more energy and I am not so tired all day long. I am gonna keep this up.

Thank you Carla ... You're doing great...I'm glad to hear you are going to stick with a plan to keep those cals up, I really truely believe this will work out better for you healthwise and certainly energy wise...Don'g go all out gung ho on the exercise, you don't need to "make up" for missing a day, your body did not mind the break and if you do too much you will counteract the increased cals that your body needs...

You did good with your food yesterday, know today will be more of the same ... See ya tomorrow on the postings...Alesia

Congrats on the 2 year mark.  It's weird huh?  When my two year mark came up in march I was like "what?  2 years already"  Time sure flies by fast.   I had another good day yesterday.  I've already eaten a donut today  so I'm not sure if today will be as good as the last 4, but all hope is not lost..I'm pretty sure I will still be well within my calorie range of 1200 to 1500.  I get to go to my food making session tonight.  I always love that.  Here's how yesterday looked. B: 20 oz sugar free caramel nonfat latte S: 1.5oz of deli turkey meat, 1 laughing cow light cheese wedge, and one plum tomato L: Thai Peanut Pork Roast and a salad with lettuce, tomato, onion, blue cheese, dried cranberries, croutons, and italian dressing S: 8 strawberries D: italian meatball sub -- 5 small meatballs with marinara, grilled onions, mozzarella on a whole wheat bun. Calories -- 1277 Fat -- 62 Carbs -- 105 Protein -- 86 I did a really low carb day again.  A little high in fat...but overall a very good day.   I probably won't be back to post until Monday, but I am gonna keep track over the weekend and I'll post what I ate on those days on Monday.  I figure it will help keep me good for a weekend (for once). Hey Kerri Yeah girl time really does fly by, still hard to believe I'm maintaining this weight for a full year and 2 years since I kicked it all off with RNY, cannot remember, if ever, when I maintained the same consistant weight for that long, it feels really good...Don't know if I told anyone, but my BL/BA is a gift from my grandparents & my aunt for doing so well with my program, otherwise I could never have afforded a new set of girls on my own - it sure feels good to know they are proud of me too...The big day is Wednesday, ... You have been doing REALLY good, and I know you will keep it up, don't think the donut will affect you adversely as long as you don't let it be an excuse to let it all go for the day/weekend/etc... I want to come with you to your food place, that just sounds so cool, wish we had something like that in N.C....I'm jealous, but in a good way... Enjoy your weekend and keep tracking even if you don't post it...Will see you Monday... Alesia

Hi Alesia! Congratulations on your 2nd year anniversary . Life is good isn't it? I have to say that the support here on the grads board has been tremendous. I am so thankful for everyone here who has shared their ups and downs and provided some insight on taking control of our eating. No one else understands this better than us.  I had my visit with my surgeon this morning and he is pleased a*****h with my weight loss. I shared with him my trials and tribulations this year. He did put me on iron supplements for 2 months since my iron level was low. As I begin my third year, I am going to focus on my eating habits - working toward meals like I did my first year. As needed, I will do a modified version of the Time Out Plan. Take care my friend and again, Happy Surgianniversary!! Hugs, Lucy

Hi Lucy, Thanks for posting, you have been doing great, and also thru a world of changes in the last year between year 1 and 2...I know you feel great and after a few rounds of plastics are lookin' pretty fine too ... Glad you appt went well, how much did you end up losing on your time out? did you make it to where you wanted to be before seeing the surgeon?  All my bloodwork looked good except my protein, seem to be having a little problem with absorbtion there even though I eat 80-100 grams a day on average, will be working on that part for myself by daily adding a 2nd protein drink as a supplement...I had iron problems for all of my 1st year and even on my 1st anniversary, I added Vitron C as a daily supplement and have had excellent iron #'s since 15 months out, you might try it, very easy on the pouchie, added vitamin C helps with absorbtion and also less problems with constipation then regular iron - it runs $13 at my local Walmart if you are interested in where to get it...

Good luck to both of us as we venture into year two...Keep posting with us when you feel the need, love hearing from everyone...

Thank you Connie, I knew I could count on you to give me the weekend reminder...Going to do my best to stick to a regular plan for Saturday and Sunday and not just graze thru the weekend, no side trips to the bahama's for me, promise... You are doing very well also, fantastic job on watching the fruit intake...Keep up the good work, I know you can do it Will try to get in one last ride on the bike this weekend, Wednesday is the big "boob" day and I will be bike restricted for 6 weeks minimum after that, so hope the weather holds long enough for me to feel the wind in my face once last time before August Enjoy your weekend too...Alesia
