I've been taking a multi-vitamin for years with no issues - I went for blood work to check other things out because I have been feeling very tired & fatigued lately. Question I have is my doctor recommended pre-natal vitamins (I'm not pregnant). Do any women take them & has it made a difference? ~Amy

I have taken prenatal vitamins since I got off liquid vitamins when I was 3 months post-op (over 5 years ago).  My labs have always been text book perfect - I don't know if they made a difference but I've never had to take extra iron or B12. I do know prenatals have more iron than regular multi vitamins.  I buy the Spring Valley brand from WalMart - they are inexpensive and work great. Patty

Thank  you so much for your quick response. I didn't know you can buy prenatal vitamins over the counter.

I also take prenatal vitamins they are over the counter I have taken different brands and they seem to do very well.  I don't take extra B-12 or anything except I chew 2 Viactive each day for calcium.
