It's funny you posted this!  I just had my first sip of it yesterday - my son had one and I asked to try his.  I thought it was really gross, so I won't have to worry about it bothering my pouch!  LOL  He is also a post-op and drinks the sugar-free energy drinks pretty regularly, and hasn't said they bother him at all. Have you checked the caffeine in it?  My surgeon doesn't like us to get large amounts of caffeine.  Of course, doctors differ but he tells his patients that it can cause an increase in appetite and can prevent bones from absorbing calcium.  Since I'm on Foxamax for osteoporosis, I won't do anything that might possibly cause further damage to the bones. I am 14 months out and just started having about one a day.  Any more than that and my tummy gets upset.  I don't love the taste, but I don't like coffee and can't drink soda, so this is my caffeine choice for the day.  My office provides it free in the staff refrigerator (can you believe it?) and so I have one at about 10 PM (I work the 6PM to 2 AM shift).  It really helps keep me on the move.
