Hi Lucy,   Good Morning! Ok day 2 is over and it is Wednesday morning starting day 3 and I have not had a single bite of FOOD, just my shakes and water.    To tell you the truth I am NOT the least bit hungry, even after making my husband's dinner,  was not the least bit tempted.  I am really determined to do the 2 weeks, I feel I should be able to give up 2 weeks of food to get on the right track and on the way to better health.    I mean we did the most drastic thing of having the surgery, having our insides rearranged, we can do THIS!!      I am now trying to plan what I will eat once I go back on food, maybe two shakes and a small meal of veg soup or chicken breast with veg.   But I am determined to NOT let any JUNK food pass my lips.    So far no more headaches, but this morning I did wake up with leg cramps and that worried me a little, maybe too much water!    So for day two, I added a protein shake and had a total of 4 shakes, 3 nectar shakes and 1 Pro Whey.  The rest of time was drinking water.  Also had 3 coffees with SF creamer about 8 ounces each. Weight:     day one 6/4/07   236.5 day two 6/5/07    229.5 day 3   6/6/07      226        Laura

Good morning Laura. WOW, you are doing fantastic! Congratulations.  I think it is a good plan to start thinking about how you are going to reintroduce solid foods after the 2 weeks. I could see how one could regain weight with even eating the way we are supposed to as a post op WLS patient. You might be needing more potassium if you continue to have leg cramps. I am in awe of your success!  Have another excellent Time Out Day! Hugs, Lucy

I made day 2.  Just had protein supplement, broth and Crystal Light yesterday.  I am on go for today.  I plan to stick with TO through Friday at lunch.  We have social plans for the weekend and I plan to eat at them.  Next week is Bible School at my church.  I will make up my mind what I want to do that week.  It is a tough week.  I am at goal, but was beginning to eat a lot of bad stuff, so I needed this refresher course.  Good luck to everyone.
