I have been drinking Nectar for more than a year now. My favorite is the strawberry kiwi, followed by the twisted cherry. The way I make it is 1.5 - 2 scoops into my (very old) Tupperware shaker cup. Add two-three ice cubes (helps with the mixing & chilling). Fill to the top with plain water. Shake it up.
Since the Tupperware shaker holds about 12 oz, for the sample pack you would not want to fill to the top! I have one of these shakes every morning before I go to my workout.
Thanks for the info. I am trying to get back to some semblance of nutritional snacking and drinking, as I've fallen into the "bad carbs" trap, as well as Diet Coke on a regular basis. (I don't think an occasional diet soda is bad, but I got away from drinking C.L. and water and want to get back to that.) I still eat nutritional meals, but all the other crap has crept back in, and the scale shows it. I generally get in enough protein through my meals, but I think if I add protein drinks, I just might be more apt to avoid some of the junk. Good idea to drink it before working out. I usually eat just a few spoonfuls of cottage cheese w/ a little fruit before going to the gym, but the protein drink would be really easy too.
