Day Nine Liquid Diet Pouch Reset

Good Morning Everyone,     It is  a rainy gloomy day in NY, but on the bright side my new grass in the yard is getting watered.

Today is my first day on the Time Out program.    First I weighed my self, and after I passed out from from shock I went to work.  Brought my powders and Crystal light.    I bought the Crystal Light "On the Go" Hydration has electrolytes to aid in hydration.   These are the individual powders pre-measured for a bottle of water.   Anyone else try these??

So far I have had:   

Before Breakfast: 2 bottles about one pint each of bottled water,  cup of coffee with half and half (1 gram of sugar);   Breakfast:      Nector Protein  Shake "ice tea flavor" (not bad),    I plann to have two bottles of bottled water and then for lunch I have Pro Whey Protein shake flavor Cappuccino.                  Wish me luck.  I am very determine to do this.    Laura

Hello again,    If possible can we every Monday do the TIME OUT ROLL Call      ,    everyone that is on it reports their results or latest intake on the plan.     I am finding it crazy  to bounce  around to different posts on the TIME OUT subject.   Maybe we can post to one post  each day on the subject Laura

I like your post espicially the one about your buddy from Texas.It shows that no matter what we do to lose weight just like before WLS.If we do not follow through with a good plan of action that all that you have done would be a waste.Doing some form of exercise will help and following a good food plan will help.Put both together and you have a winnig plan to achieve your goal of feeling better and keeping off the weight gain. bob

Hi Bob,  Only a fool would believe that real lasting weight loss will be maintained without a sound, healthy plan to adhere to. I think Oprah was in her size 10 Calvin Kleins for one day before she resumed regular eating after her Optifast liquid diet and ballooned back up to an even higher weight than before. Now look at her...she has made a lifestyle change and has been healthy for  a long time. There is one difference though. I have a pouch as my secret weapon to keep me on track when this liquid phase is over.  I have learned a lot about myself through this crazy liquid diet. Such as, why I have been eating, when do I get cravings and what I can do to combat those weak areas that had snuck up on me over the past year. So, like a child in "time out" I am having time to think about what I will do when I get out of time out. I can't just go crazy stuffing my face on the couch. This is a lifestyle change and a good refresher on why I had wls in the first place! Ya know what I mean?

Laura! Go for it! You should start that roll call if you have the time and desire to do it everyday....By All Means go for it!  Especially since you are on the East Coast because your day starts earlier than mine in this time zone. I am just here to share my experiences good and bad and to ask for help along the way as I was in such a desperate place before I started paying attention to my food intake again. Now I feel sooo much better and will track everything on Fitday. Anyway, good luck with your time out plan!

Hey Lorri! I will be chiming in as well if ya'll start a roll call. I am not really the girl for the job though. I don't want everyone waiting around for me if i am not able to get to my computer!  Good luck on your time out! You'll do great!

Hey Molly!! Your new picture is too cute!  You are so adorable!  (I don't mean that in a weird way....haha) I just love this board because everyone is so helpful and it is just wonderful to be able to get the needed support and encouragement. Today is my first day on TO.  I am taking it one day at a time.  I have had an Adkins Advantage RTD can and a Walker Diet supplement.   I plan to have a can of Cambells French Onion soup for lunch.  I have been a goal for several months, but I slipped up this morning with a three pound weight gain.  So this is to hopefully get me back on track.  Don't know what I will do tomorrow but for taday I am on the plan.
