Hey Anita, Don't stress too much about one up, it could be anything from not having a BM to retaining water...Stay on track, get back to a little exercise and it will be back off again tomorrow or the next day for sure...Don't think you were out of control on your cals and it looks like you made good, healthy food choices for the day... Hang tough, you're doing great   Alesia

Hi alesia, i will try to get some excerise in tommorw. we have our grandson till tuesday sometime. his mom is on her way back from missippii. i can walk with him but not far. pushing the stroller can be tough since of some rough side walks...  but we will get exercise in one way or another. i will do some hand weights tonight. might not help much for the one pound. Good Morning Alesia Yesterday was a struggle eating wise. I went to my inlaws house where refusing food=refusing love. They do not even know about my surgery and are the only ones I did not tell.  My MIL is Chinese and she has no other effective means of communication except through food. AND family dinners are so important. Every one has to sit down at the table and I really admire this about thier family. It is stressful with the my two kids and 10 people gathered around but worth it so see the joy a family dinner brings. My MIL just lives to hear everyone rave about her food. Anyway, all that being said, I took a hiatus from my Time Out Plan. Not because her food is so irresistable but more out of respect and not calling attention to myself. The upside of this is that there is always a very healthy choice in the food she cooks. Yesterday it was my first solid foods really in one week. I got full very quicky and really enjoyed chew, chew chewing and being very concious of my intake. I had: Wake up: coffee with SF creamer B: Nectar shake L: Nectar shake D: 3 shrimps 2 pieces of broccoli 2 ounces of BBQ'ed pork chop Here's the part I am not proud of: When I got home I went back to my old ways for an hour and munched on 40 pistachios while I drank my hot SF jello. Pistachios are a "gateway drug" of sorts. They replace popcorn which has been my longtime vice. So, I gotta watch the pistachios and yes, count everyone! They are my dope! LOL! Anyway, today is a new day and my flatter tummy has me inspired to get back on the Liquid Proiten, no solids wagon another week starting today. I am down 8 pounds in 8 days and feel so good!

Hello Molly, I'm proud of you, you made the right choice by "honoring" your MIL...You have been doing awesome on your time out program, perhaps a little break will even give you a new boost, my nut always told me it is good to mix up your program either food or exercise every so often so your body does not get complacent in its habits...I love pistachios too and can see how they might be a trigger food, so now you had a little fun, back to the bricks baby - your are doing great and I know you feel it!!! Hi Carla, You know I made the same food mistakes myself Saturday, did not plan right for being on the road...I'm taking it in stride and back on plan today...Just got to do it one day at a time and learn from the trials and tribulations of the journey...You are still the captain of this ship, take charge and full steam ahead - tomorrow is another and a better day...  Alesia
