Good Morning to Everyone, Saturday is a little overcast here in eastern NC, non the less I am preparing to mount my bike and head out for a nice long ride...Today our local Shiners group is sponsoring a poker run with proceeds to the childrens hospital in SC, we will ride with 8 other couples as a small group about 180 miles total, there will be 100's of us out there riding on other small groups, think it will be a good day even with the prospect of rain...Don't know what the food situation will be like, so will travel prepared with lots of water and a protein drink on board the bike... Fridays food: B - 20 oz 1/2 caf sf/ff fv & caramel latte       1 small sweet potato corn bread muffin S - 10 mini cheddar pretzels        1 oz lf cheddar L- 2 oz veal piccata      1/4 cup sauteed vegies      2 sf caramel medallions S - 1/2 oz cashews D - 2.5 oz buffalo chicken bites       5 french fries       a bite of pintos       3/4 of a cheddar bo biscuit PLUS - 82.5 oz water/crystal light TOTALS =     Cals - 1241     Fat - 51     Carbs - 114     Protein - 83 Have a great day to all Alesia

  Hi Alesia, Here is what I had for Friday. today looks like a yucky day but still very early almost 9 am. the scale moved today again.. woo hoo.......... keep jumping on it alesia just not when i'm on it.. lol..  just dont break it.. lol.. I did good with the fish dinner. I gave my mom the clow slaw... I did have a bite of a roll at the restuant and a bite of my mom's homemade berry dessert cake like stuff.  maybe both an ich big. oh i love the sound of bikes... harleys..............mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm i love bikers.... darn i'm married...... lol... have fun riding..... anita

Hey Anita, Looks like you did great on what you chose at your meal out...I'll be happy to keep bouncing on the scale with you (LOL), isn't it a great feeling when you see the numbers going down...Keep making good choices, the odds are in your favor and for now its smooooooth sailing... Its okay to love bikers, I'm a biker and I love bikers too (shhh don't tell my husband, cause he's a biker tooo  )...and I love the sound of loud pipes... hi alesia, yes i am doing good making good food choices. that fish was called car-broiled fish..  yes i like to see the numbers go down. its great....they just better not go up.... anita

Gonna be crazy for me today and the weather isn't all that hot in Cali either.. kind of overcast. Two of my kids are in horse shows today so I will be there most of the day. Should be lots of fun.. One is riding Western and the other is riding English.. what a pair they make.

What I ate on friday.

B- protein shake 230 cals 35 pro
S- banana 100 cals 2 pro
L- chicken and steak fajitas.. (last nights left overs) 250 cals 25 pro
D- Steak medalions with spinach and blue cheese wrapped in it. 300 cals 25 pro
S- darn it ... ice cream 110 cals 2 pro

1090 cals and 88 protein... hmm... not to good I think on protein...

Did work out so I burned about 600 cals for the day there..

Hi Carla, Kids will keep you busy won't they...Luckily I have one old enough to drive now and he does alot of the shuttling around my two... Another nice food day...Don't damn yourself for the icecream, it really isn't all that bad really - its got milk which is a good protein and if you are having a small serving it not an unhealthy food choice, so enjoy it, one splurge a day keep the heart happy  and for sure you burned it off working out... Hi, Alesia!  Sounds like a fun day!!  I hope the rain holds off for you!! B - 1 packet WC oatmeal w/2 T ground flax, 1/2 c ff milk, banana S - nsa lf peach yogurt, AchievONE L - 2 T pb and 1 T sf grape jelly on 1 slice whole wheat bread (toasted), 1 pack O'Coco's, sf Jell-O cup, 3 sf Werthers, 2 sf Dove chocolates S - 1/4 cantalope, 7 lf cheese cubes, AchievONE D - 1/2 c spinach, 1/2 a serving of brown rice, 3 oz shrimp, sf Jell-O cup w/ff RW, sf fudgie S - 1 1/2 c sf lf vanilla ice cream w/1 c sliced strawberries and ff RW Plus I had 64 oz water, 16 oz half decaf coffee, 16 oz dc green tea, 12 oz cf Diet Coke, 16 oz sf hot cocoa w/ff RW and I treaded 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon and did 30 minutes of light weights (minus the one exercise I think is aggravating my back ).  Have a great Saturday!!

Hello Connie, Be careful with your back don't want to overdue to the point where you have to stop exercising...Did good with your food, have you checked the scale or are you holding off for a few days?  I just remembered that you were trying to cut back on your fruit, which will lower the amount of sugar you are eating which might help with getting the scale moving in a downward trend again, how is that going? Take it slow today, and enjoy what's left of the weekend...Alesia

Thanks for the kind words, Alesia!  I'm trying!!  Saturday (which is my "official" weigh-in day), I lost 1.5 of the 1.6 I had gained last Saturday.  Friday I had been up 2.5 pounds (from the 1.6 gain!) so I was sort of freaking.  This whole thing is SO weird - this morning I was back up 2 pounds.  Go figure!!  I'm trying to just do what I know is right and let it go where it goes!  As for my back, sitting seems to be the worst thing!  Laying and exercising are fine!  I'm a strange duck, huh?!?  LOL  Have a great rest of the day!

Good morning Alesia! All I can tell you is that the Time Out Plan really works. I dropped 12 pounds since Tuesday. I'm sure that is because I was grazing all day and consuming a lot of calories. Then I cut way back - not more than 400 a day. Yesterday, I actually had less than 400. Breakfast and Lunch - Nectar Protein Drink - 180 cal, 46 g protein 1 cup of coffee with FF creamer and skim milk - 45 cal negligible portion of low fat garden vegetable soup - I only had the broth part, no vegetables! I was out on a date and had to have something. No other food for the day. Exercised 30 minutes in total, 25 on the gazelle rider and 5 on the elliptical. Today I will probably shake things up a bit and have a very small salad with a few shrimps. Otherwise, nectar protein only! You're going so well! Congratulations on your persistence and accountability. Thanks for starting this post every day. It sure helps to be accountable! Hugs, Lucy
