Pouch Resetting (Time Out) Update Week ONE is DONE
Mollie Mae, I'm glad you've posted regularly. I also feel accountable and am able to stay on track when I put it out there. Yesterday was day one of my reset the pouch attempt. I had a great day, all of the fluids and protein I had planned on and no grazing or white carbs. Today is not a loss, I started with tea, water, protein shake but went to lunch with friends and had a grilled brie/asparagus/tomatoe sandwich on rye bread and a small cup of gazpacho. I enjoyed it immensely and will not dwell on it with guilt for not following my plan! Rest of the day will be water, CL, protein, and an iced coffee with cream and splenda. Julie
Molly,
Keep those posts coming! I am 3.5 years out an gained about 15 lbs. back because my eating has been out of control. I have a desk job and the stress just kills me. Everyone is always bringing snacks in and it's so easy just to grab one on your way back. At my old job I had an hour for lunch and the gym was 3 minuets away. I would go work out at lunch, it was great! However, things have changed, I had some health problems that kept me from exercising since late november but I am pretty much able to work out now. Thanks to your posts I started drinking protein shakes the other day and today I actually had 2!!! I can't tell you the last time that i had two shakes in one day! LOL. I need to ask you what is Sunrise CL??? I am taking baby steps to get back on track. I had a sub today but only ate the insides and maybe two small bites of the bun just for a little taste of bread.
Keep smiling everyone!
Marie
