Accountability - What did you eat, Wednesday, 5/30?
ALRIGHT girl !!! You had a great day two ...I only have extreme admiration for all of you working the Time Out program...Doing awesome and I suspect that each day out will get a little easier, probably even the tempting food smells cravings will dim a little after a week or so, still did the BF know that you are trying to do all liquids, cause that had to have been torcher...
Go, go, go...See ya in the next posting...Alesia
Good morning Alesia! I'm having my yearly lab work tomorrow morning so that I have the results for my visit with my WLS surgeon next Friday, my 2nd year anniversary. YAY!!!
I am so happy to say that I made day 2 of the Time Out Plan.
I also picked up on my exercise and am doing both the gazelle rider and the elliptical. Boy that elliptical is a killer! OK, here's was my day:
1 cup coffee with skim milk and FF hazelnut creamer - 45 calories
For breakfast, lunch and dinner - Fuzzy Navel Protein drink - 90 cal x 3 = 270 calories. Protein total was 69 plus maybe 1 for the skim milk! With my exercise, I worked off 105 calories yesterday. So I think I am doing great! I will weigh myself on Saturday morning when I go to weigh****chers and see where I am. I have 8 days to my surgeon visit. I am going to make it!!
Today I am seeing my plastic surgeon for my post-op visit. He always boosts my ego and makes me feel good. I bet they all do that!
Hope all goes well for you today!
Hugs,
Lucy

Hello Lucy...
WooWhoo day 2 is down, on to day 3, it sounds like you are on target and feeling good about your choice to do the "time out"...I've never been on an elliptical, but I've seen them in action and it looks like one major work out, you go girl, I'm sticking to my water aerobics and occasional walk/run in my neighborhood...
My pre-op today is for a BL/BA, its in 2 weeks on 6/13, I'm really excited - like to visit my plastic surgeon too...
Keep up the awesome job, I know you're going to make it too...
Alesia
Hi Alesia. THanks for the support and encouragement. I just love the support on this board. So many of us understand what we and others are going through. WLS is not the cure for us. It is a tool and we have to work it. It's too bad that the surgeons can't put a chip in our brains that would reduce our appetites.
I am gaining strength and control with each day on this plan. It is a good retraining for my pouch and my eating habits. I am thankful to those who have shared this plan!
I had a breast lift with augmentation in March. I am doing very well. I will need a revision but will wait until winter.
Good luck with your pre-op testing and visit with the plastic surgeon.
Thanks for starting this post every day. Accountability is everything!
Hugs,
Lucy

Congratulations on the 2 year surgervisary. It's hard to believe time flies by that quick. I know what you mean about high carbs. I went overboard on the snacking yesterday and my carbs ended up higher than yours. Considering that though, I didn't do too terrible with the calories. I set a goal of 155 on spark people. I said I wanted to do it by the beginning of October...yeah we'll see. But anyways, according to that, I should be eating between 1200 and 1550 calories a day in order to meet that goal. We shall see. Here's how it looked yesterday.
B: 20 oz sugar free caramel nonfat latte
S: lowfat blueberry muffin from starbucks (this is where the carb monsters started..)
L: pork chop cooked in a dijon sauce with sauteed mushrooms and a small salad
S: Grande sugar free caramel coffee light frappucino with extra shot of espresso (it was a very slow afternoon...needed an extra boost...and may I just say, that frappucino was absolutely delightful. Only 140 calories too)
D: ham and turkey salad from subway
S: 100 calorie pack south beach diet crackers and laughing cow herb and garlic cheese wedge
Calories -- 1412
Fat -- 54
Carbs -- 177 --
Protein -- 84
