Hey Sheila, I actually really like the "Time Out" idea and will be putting it into my folder of information I might want to access in the future...Do think it is something I might try if my numbers start spiralling wildly out of control, would not consider it for a couple of pounds but if I have a 10 or more regain I would definately consider it an option... I know you are still worried about the scale being up when you go see the doc, but I'm sticking to my guns when I say I don't really believe you will be up...I think you are just really making better choices and your body is going to agree...

Your doing okay on the food, watch out for the fast food demon though, not really the best choice available if you can avoid it, but you already know that Have a great one...Alesia

Welcome aboard Ms. Help (LOL) Congrats on completing the 1st day of your Time Out program...Remember the best things in life are worth the extra work put into attaining them, you can do it!!!   You already did the major achievement with your original surgery weight loss - We all know WLS is not an easy out and you've come so far... I think I would have a very hard time doing this plan also, keep plugging in plenty of other liquids to keep the space full and take your mind off wanting to put in non-liquid choices... the scale is moving in the right direction, don't undermine yourself by chalking it up to water weight, give yourself a hug, the numbers are DOWN...That is a good thing no matter how it is achieved or what the cause... Oh much much much better day yesterday.  It's those weekends that kill me.  I think it's because all I do is sit around the house.  I'm beyond broke at the moment and can't really afford to go anywhere on the weekends so I spend a lot of time at home.. I think I get bored too easily.  Anyways enough of my rambling.  Here's how the day went. B: 20oz sugar free caramel nonfat latte S: 1 cup cherries L: pork chop and small salad D: meatloaf topped with cheese and grilled onions, and then a tomato sliced up with a little seasoning on it. S: 2 south beach diet oatmeal cookies Calories -- 1396 Carbs -- 116 Fat -- 65 Protein -- 90 Kerri

Kerri Girl, Weekends are the WORST, I really struggle to stay on a plan on the weekends, just to much going on and I eat on the grab usually with a latte working as a meal at least once every weekend ( primarily as a lunch)...

Glad to see you had a good day, back on track , good choices...

If you come up with a better way to handle the weekends let me know, cause my ship always seems to move a little of course come Saturday and Sunday and then I'm redirecting on Monday...
