Pouch Resetting (Time Out) Roll Call...

Hi Vicky! I know what you mean about your diabetes. I have not offically been diagnosed with hypoglycemia but definately had icky episodes everyday (maybe it was just dumping). I would eat the wrong thing (something sugary) and would have to head for the couch immediatly with my two toddlers as my nurses. It was really sad. They would "make a bed" for mommy and I would be in a sugar stupor for awhile while they ran around the house trying to make me "all better". I tell you I really felt like mother of the year...NOT! For some reason I would always get hot, sweaty, nervous, shaky, ect everyday too and it really sucked. I could barely function like that and for some reason, on this liquid diet that is not occuring at all so far, thank goodness!
Some is obviously traceable back to sugar or carbs, but some cannot be tracked back.
There finally some new theories out there besides "blame the victim". But if you ask your doc, you wil probably be told that it's a reaction to carbs and just stop it right now! But if you KNOW you have not had any, then exactly what IS happening?
Tons of info on yahoo grad, but just a few little sniffs at what it might actually be.
Our universal treatment is either PB on white bread or about 3 of the PB cracker thingies you can buy in a 6 pack. Msot of carry them in purse, car, desk......... everywhere.
