Tried the Time Out Plan!

Good morning everyone! I decided to try the Time Out Plan because I got way out of control in the past 6 months. I did a modified version because I didn't have the Nectar protein until dinnertime. I've been fluctuating losing and gaining the same pounds. Grazing has become a regular routine for me. I've been eating all foods and in good quantities. Yesterday was my first day. I had to work very hard to get through the day. Those carbs are so evil . This is what I had: Coffee with skim milk and 1 FF Hazelnut creamer - 45 cal. 1 Achiev One for breakfast - 120 cal 1 Achiev One for lunch - 120 cal Fuzzy Navel Nectar by Syntrax for dinner - 90 cal Roughly 375 calories and 63 grams of protein. I'm so happy that I got through the first day ! Now I am working on day 2 - today will be all Nectar drinks with crystal light and one cup of coffee. My 2nd year surgianniversary is coming up next Friday, June 8th. I am seeing my WLS surgeon on that day. I don't want to go in and have a gain. I won't!!! My pouch does feel better and I'm not as tired. I think the carbs and sugars make me sleepy. I did not feel weak at all yesterday. In fact, I had a lot more energy. Please wish me well for day 2! I am doing this for me because I want to and need to for my well being. Thanks to everyone who posted and shared their experiences and successes. You sure helped me get back on track!! Hugs, Lucy Crystal light in between meals and during the day.

Hey Lucy! That is so awesome about feeling better being off sugars! That is exactly how I feel. Great job! You will walk into your surgeons office with your head held high on June 8th and I can hardly wait to hear all about it. Have another great day!

Hi Molly. Thanks for your message. So far, so good for me today. I did have a stressor this morning but chose not to give in to the temptations to eat carbs. I do feel a lot better today. I can't believe how much one day helped me. I'll be posting again tomorrow. I need the accountability. Lucy
