Reset Roll Call!
Good morning all of you pouch resetters! Yesterday went pretty well for me again.
My day went a little something like this:
Wake up: big glass of water
right after that: coffee with sugar free creamer
Breakfast: Nectar Fuzzy Navel Protein Shake with a little Crystal light mixed in
then: more water
Lunch: Nectar Cappuccino Protein Shake
followed by: water
went on a walk on a nice trail with my family
Came home hungry fixed the family steak nachos and peanut butter jelly then watermelon
Snack: Drank Chicken broth
then: more water
Dinner: Nectar Fuzzy Navel Protein Shake with Crystal Light
then: more water
Whew! There were at lot of trips to the bathroom yesterday. Thank goodness the trail we walked on is brand new and had a bathroom at the begining and middle. I had to potty a lot and so did my 4 year old. She sees me drinking a lot of water and follows suit.
Anyway, so I am doing pretty good with this deal still. There are just the night time munchies to deal with and that is the hardest part of the day. I used to reward myself for a day well done with some yummy salty snacks everynight or icecream (WTH was I thinking, LOL)
Have a great day ya'll! I am off to the airport to pick some one up and better go get my liquids going so I can use the bathrooms there!
I'm lonely! Replying to myself here, LOL! Anyway, I also joined a yahoo group yesterday for postops called OSSG I believe. Very helpful!!!
Also, a good friend (where are you Paul I can't access your message) reminded me about joining a support group and I AM going to do that. I keep running to this board but I know people are busy and not always up to respond to me. Besides it is good to fo to support group IRL (in real life!) so I will be doing that too!
Bye for now!

Hey there!
Today is day one of the rest of my life, too.
I have kept up with my main support group and it helps. I haven't gotten to the discipline to exercise regularly and that is number one on my job list today. I also logged on one of the food log sites. Everything passing my lips will be recorded. (Everything so far today already has been).
I lost 80% of my excess weight in about ten months post surgery. I gained back about five percent and have been holding steady for nearly six months now. I want to lose the final twenty percent.
I started the journey as a 'lightweight' at 250. I lost down to 165 and gained back to 168. The charts say I should be at 145 to not be in the overweight category. I am seeing myself at 145!!
Support in all walks is good.

Ok I went out yesterday and bought some Nectar Protein. I am starting my reset today.
So far so good.
I bought the Fuzzy Navel and Caribean Cooler. I have never tried either before. I am tring to get the Fuzzy Navel down right now. I mixed it with water in my magic bullet. What type of CL did you mix it with?
Anyways plan for today water, protien drink, more water. Walk after work for at least 20 min.
Pre WLS - 265
Lowest - 145
Current - 197
Goal - 150 to 155
So I have 52 lbs to banish forever and never let come back again!!!!

Well, I didn't binge yesterday, but I did eat normally. I took a day to just reset my mind and get over that guilt of the binge cycle I went through. I bought a few more protein drinks so I have more options. I am approaching this with a new mentality today because the guilt and self defeating thoughts really get to me if I "fail" at something I am trying. So, my approach is that I will drink protein and Crystal Lite all day until dinner. If I am still hungry after drinking my evening protein shake, then I will eat a high protein meal. By having that allowance in there I will be more likely to stick to it. I usually do well for about a week, then fall off my plan. Hopefully the results in a week will motivate me to stick with it and my pouch will be "resetting". I do notice that I stop craving some of the things that were beckoning me before, so that's great. I threw out the chips and my favorite salsa, so that temptation is gone. Good luck to everyone else who is trying to get off any weight they regained. It's certainly not easy.

Good morning Molly! I just wanted to let you know I started resetting my pouch today. I went and bought the Nectar Fuzzy Navel...it's not too bad to be honest. I think the hardest part is seeing everyone in my office eating lunch and I'm sucking on my water bottle!! LOL Hope all is going well - enjoy the airport....
I was going to start today, BUT, after I had a protein bar for breakfast yesterday I thought I could still do it yesterday. So I had a protein bar and two shakes yesterday. I used the Nectar Carribean Cooler for the first time and it was very good mixed with orange sunrise crystal light. For dinner I had an unjury vanilla shake with milk(170 cals, 0fat, 0sugar, 28protein) mixed with a shot of Davinci sugar free Kahlua syrup....MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Just like at a coffee shop.
My hungar was never there when I was on liquids before, even during the pre-op diet. It's the same now. I wasn't hungary at all, physically. It was harder for my head not to be hungry.
I feel better though! more in control. Good luck everyone
