Time out plan?
YEE HAW!!! I am the CARB QUEEN.... I'm just thinking about all those luscious carbs awaiting me to consume them ---but I'm gonna be one tough cookie from now on...what do they really do for me? Torment me, make me hate myself, make me spend more money on bigger clothes.... NO MORE!!! Let's take back control!!!
My main concern w/this and that other "kick-start" thing is that you lose really good while on it, but as soon as you add regular food back in, it comes right back! Just my humble opinion and experience.
Also, I feel like I had this surgery so I wouldn't have to do anymore "fad" diets, you know? I hate to get sucked back into that!
Anyway - each to his own and I wish all good luck. Just my opinion - not a judgement on ANYONE!!!!!
Hugs,
Connie

Hi Connie!
Since I am not a saleswoman of this plan, a doctor, or a guru I can only use my own research and experience to guide me.
A week ago I was bellied up to a melted carton of ice cream at a redlight and that was my breaking point. Now I am very aware of what I am eating and thinking about why I am hungry everytime I want to eat. Sooo...I did something "drastic" by embarking on this program to refresh my commitment to my mental and physical health and the beneftis so far are fabulous. I guess
I do understand your concern though especially if you have had experience with regaining after returning to regular food. But I need to find my "new normal" and eat South Beach style after this and not even buy the old foods that caused me so much grief!
Anyway, I am sure plenty of people feel the same as you and who knows...maybe I will to next month at this time. I can only tell you I was a desperate girl in a desperate situation so this is why I took these measures.
