 ouch, this day is crazing, barely got  time to check in with you guys...Here's my food for yesterday...My ship really hit some serious waves and I got a little off course, need to go back to captains school for a day or two of retraining B - 20 1/2 caf sf/ff cinnamon dulce latte S - 2 sf caramel medallions L - 2 small slices white pizza with mushrooms and diced tomatoes S  - 1 o mixed nuts D - 2 protein balls       7 french fries       1 sugar cookie S - strawberry short cake with redi whip PLUS - 83 oz water/crystal light TOTALS =     Cals - 1390     Fat - 69     Carbs - 149     Protein - 59 Too many cals in relation to what I actually ate choice wise, way to many carbs and protein was really sucky ...Must have been set on sabatoging myself cause this report is rough, really rough...  Alesia

Ok-here's what I ate.  I haven't been watching much at all-so I do need some accountablity.     B.  HiProtein crunch ceral-with skim milk   S.  1 light string cheese   L.   Ham salad-ff mayo on crackers-about 6, 1 special K bar   S..  Bag of single serve ff potato chips   D.  Lean pocket-Hi protein crunch cereal with skim milk   S   hand full of chex mix. Also had coffee with half and half two or three times throughout the day.

Anita, I like your style, what a great food day...I'm proud of you!!! I just got a free sample box of kashi cereal, I'm going to try it as a topper on my salads, I can't eat any cereal with milk it makes me big time for some reason, still even at this far out, don't know what the deal is 'cause sometimes I really crave the taste of cereal with milk, but have resigned myself to having it dry ... I go an order with some of those Oh Yeah protein bars too, I chose the peanut butter and dark chocolate ones (of course, 'cause we all know I HAVE TO HAVE my p/b fix  )...Not too bad, different from the power crunch bars which are about my fav...

Anyway, nice job...keep it up...Alesia

Hi Alesia, Hmmm you like my style huh... never heard that one before...  i never thought to put cereal on sald. it just dont sound right... i recieved the free sample also but havent tried it yet. i am getting tired of the cereal but thats all besides oatmeal so have to see one or the other.... i did buy three flavoes of the oh yeah bars. i had cho. cho and cho. pb and the cho mint. i like the power crunch better. i hope i can order some this month. money has been so tight so have to use what i have home..  have a good day. anita

Well Hello Jan, Welcome to accountablity...This doesn't look too bad at all...When you say you haven't been watching - have other days had more food, worse choices, do you think you are not getting enough protein or cals? I guess I'm asking, what about this days' food makes you worry about accountability or is it just that you want to see what you are choosing in writing so you have a better idea what it is that you choose? I account because in reporting my choices out loud to others it makes me make better choices, guess it's a guilt factor - ya know, don't want to eat so bad that others look at it and go whoa what planet is she eating on ...Anyway, accounting for my day works pretty well at keeping me in line, plus I really enjoy seeing what others eat for affirmation of my choices and to get ideas of things I might try and of course to offer support and get support when needed... Hi Sher, Thanks for chiming in...UMMM, ricotta stuffed portabello mushrooms sound great, do you have a recipe you could post? Hey, I just noticed you don't pos****er and no cal liquids you drink, do you track them to make sure you are getting enough "water" in a day? Total cals for the day 1150.. 99 protein.. not quite how I wanted to increase my calories..

Icecream is not all bad as long as the sugar does not make you dump, I would go for the low fat kind...Lots of great flavors out there...I really like the no sugar added varieties at Baskin Robbins...Still a good food day and great protein count Alesia
