new to site, 4months post op....

hi everyone...just wanted to introduce myself. my name is liz, from new jersey. i am 25 years old and 4 months post op....down 96lbs!!! anyone out there wanna chat, or talk about things, let me know!!! thanks

Hi Lizzie, I am a patient of Dr. Braders as well.  Don't you just love him!!   I am in Newtown,PA . Congrats on your loss.  It is great!  I am over a year post op and down ~145 #'s. I am actually below my intended goal.  I reach my goal at about 7 months.  I did just what dr brader told me and the weight just came off. I had no complications from the surgery. Unfortunetly I did have a small bowel obstruction, and went through months of hell and finally another open surgery to correct the problem. It turned out it had nothing to do with my WLS.  It was caused by an adhesion from my c-section, go figure! My general surgeon said he thought Braders work was beautiful!!
