I HAVE NO EXCUSE!!!
you are so right the weight loss was easy, now the hard part is to maintain. I never had success with wt loss before wt loss surgery so when i lost and got to my lowest i floundered and floundered then gained 12 lbs, now i know what i have to do. Work at remembering the important steps protien, water exersize. We have that great tool we just have to remeber how to keep it working. Naturally thin people do the same ting. they watch what they eat and work at looking good. thats what i will always try to remember. this board is a great life line. Thanks for being there for me! Sheila
Oh Boy Sheila you are so right. Thinking back to before weight loss surgery I'd try lots of diets. I think all of them worked---it was always the maintenance. I wanted the tool to do it--now I have to relearn how to use my tool. The problem is that I know how to cheat it too. I'm so good at cheating diets.---Why is that. I've never felt so good about myself as when I was eating right--I felt good. Why do I sabatage myself.
Anywho--thanks for the RANT
I've set some goals and unfortunately I will start them tomorrow. I'm going to start a journal with the "why I'm eating" It's the advise my surgeon said to do a long time ago and I don't want to call until I've done some of the things I was suppose to do up front. (naughty me!!)
I'm also going to think positively and continue on this site. It was so wonderful to see that there are "people" out there experiencing what I am.
THANKYOU!!!
Penny:)
ps--I've written it --now I HAVE to follow through--right?!
