Hi guys, I need some opinions/advice from the grads. Here's the 'stat's' Starting weight: 237 8 month post-op: 155 I'M STUCK!  I've haven't lost anything in almost 2 months!  I'm happy with my weight but really just want to reach my goal of 137. I upped my work out, increased my protein intake and eat right. I don't know what else to do.  Does anyone have any suggestions or we you ever at a stall this long??

I was stuck for 9 weeks just 3 little lbs. above goal. I went to London for 9 days and didn't do any gym workouts, didn't count my protein as diligently and came home at goal. So I always tell people to change things up. Do a different type of exercise. Eat new foods. They'll get your body's attention and it will likely start losing then. If that doesn't work, make an appointment with your nutritionist. There's a woman on the lightweights board that hadn't lost anything in 2 months (I think she's about 11 months out and 20 lbs. from goal). Her nut looked at her food diary and immediately told her she was eating too much cheese. To cut down. In the first 5-6 days of cutting back on cheese, she'd lost 4 lbs. Good luck and keep us posted.

I had my surgery over 5 years ago and lost 120 pouns at six months - and stopped losing.  My surgeon wanted me to lose at least another 27 before doing a hernia repair and tummy tuck.  He told me it could take up to six months to lose it.  I didn't lose an ounce for two months and then lost 20 pounds in 30 days.  So don't despair - you probably have just hit a plateau where your body is adjusting to the rapid changes.  Chances are, you will be losing inches and reshaping. I'm stuck too. I just wanted to let you know I feel your pain, but really I just wanted to say wow you are gorgeous! You should be proud of yourself. If you keep trucking, it'll eventually come off. After all this time, I know that and yet I still stress about it too. best to you. :)
