Hi! My name is Jen! I had Open RNY in June of 03, and lost 274 pounds...I was told I would never conceive, and low and behold July of 05 found out I was preggers...In February of 06, I gave birth to Elijah..I gained over 50lbs with him, using the excuse, I will get it off, Im pregnant..Well, as I started getting the weight off, I was down about 25 pounds, and when he was 10 weeks old, found out I was preggers AGAIN (on 2 forms of BC mind you)....In January of this year, I gave birth to Emileigh...I gained a whopping 40 pounds with her...So in total I gained 90 pounds, and I am down a total of 45 so far.....But I am feel like I am falling backwards, and I MUST MUST MUST get the weight off....There are days I do really well, and other days, I dont...This is my 1st time here, I normally hang out on the Post Op Preggo Board, and I really do love it there, but I do need to be here, because I did have a tubal, so no more babies, and I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to get the weight off, and I need that hard kick..SO PLEASE KICK AWAY!! :) Jen

Welcome, welcome!! You have come to the right place for support!!  I would say that you have taken the first great step to getting your weight under control - asking for help from others!  You will find a wealth of knowledge and experience here, so read/post often and keep us posted of your progress! I think my most pressing question here is what kind of BC were you using?  Inquiring minds (especially mine!) want to know!!

Welcome and Congratulations on your beautiful babies!!!!!!!!!!!!! It sounds like you're doing a great job so far, but I know its hard sometimes to stay on track. What's your eating plan like? Do you find time to exercise with 2 little ones to take care of??

Hi Tracy, and thank you for the welcome... Since trying to kick myself in the butt, I have been doing really well..Here is what I ate yesterday Breakfast-Cottage cheese and coffee Lunch-Chicken soup with TONS of veggies Snack-cheese stick and Kashi go lean oatmeal with skim milk Dinner-Chicken breast on the grill w/ff bbq sauce and veggies Snack-Cheese stick Water-about 60 ounces My exercise consists of playing with my 15 month old, and I did get in a 30 minute walk, but during the week between 50 hrs of work, than going home and bath, dinner, playtime, story and bed for the kids, its hard to do much else..The weekend is when I can get in a good walk with them (pushing a double stroller is GREAT for the arms LOL) I know I need to eat more protien, and drink more water, so that is my goal...
